I wondered it it was working and doing what I read about it and boy did I find out when I moved some furniture. This unit had put out so many electrons that the walls were darker where they wall had not been covered.I then used Simple Green to clean it and that worked, but, yes, it's worth getting because not only is is it quiet, but it works great and with basically no moving parts, this should last a long time.You could use it along with a simple air filter and would work perfectly. This would work perfectly for a baby because the Negative Ions would kill all the floating bacteria and feed the baby a charge to help them develop.
