Chung Jung One Sunchang Gochujang - Red Pepper Paste (6.6lbs) (3kg)

I love the product and have ordered it three times (6.6 oz. size). The first two orders came in perfect condition and the third one arrived in bubble wrap in a box. It appears that the plastic seal on the container popped open and had spilled out of the bubble wrap and the plastic container itself. I lost about a cup of gochujang. Since it is unreturnable I decided to keep it and use it. Keep my fingers crossed because I’m really taking a chance. I emailed the company and let them know what happened to the shipment so that they could improve their method of shipping and have received no reply AT ALL. I wasn’t even asking for a refund……NO REPLY. I later found out that I could have asked for refund or replacement but I had already cleaned it up and had not taken a photo. To Amazon: the post for this product actually says that the product is returnable until you scroll on it further and it THEN mentions that it is UNRETURNABLE. Can that note please be changed to: RETURNABLE OR REFUNDABLE ONLY IF DAMAGED; OTHERWISE UNRETURNABLE? Also the company is not email/customer friendly.

Gochujang is a perfect spicy & sweet sauce to be used for cooking hot spicy tofu soup or hot spicy seafood soup. I have always loved the flavor and taste of this sauce since as a little kid growing up. Gochujang for life..!

i ordered this 3 times and 2 times it came broken open upon opening the package. I will now go with the smaller version of this container as clearly it is not packaged right. Great product over all when it actually comes intact.

It's very thick and theres a lot of it but it's very versatile, you can use it on meats, in soups and it's such a new and exotic flavor

I have bought this item from this company before in a smaller size. I really like it and go through a lot so I decided to get a bigger size. This is the package it came in and this is what it looked like when I took it out. In one of the pictures you can see the half deflated cushion on top. You can’t return or request a refund.

I use this to make a hot sauce for wings. It is perfect and you wont find it any less expensive than here Updated: I have ordered this several more times and it arrives damaged about 50% of the time, they need to put more than one small piece of bubble wrap in the box.

Great product but seal came broken. Imagine a 6lbs of watery paste in a thin flimsy plastic container then it being shipped in a cardboard box without peanuts or airbags... terrible packaging.

I absolutey love Gochujang! I bought the 3.3lb one because I use it frequently and it is cheaper than buying the smaller 100g packages every couple months. I wont have to buy it is a while and the flavor is just as good. the package was not cracked either (I've seen this as an issue) I am a very satisfied customer.
