Assassins: Assignment: Jerusalem, Target: Antichrist (Left Behind #6)

I can’t wait to start the next book. I am just so impatient. This is so unusual for me to be so involved that I just can’t stop reading. It’s fascinating the writing and the following of the Bible it’s just beyond words beyond my words, but the authors have been great in coming up with each one of these books.

The Left Behind series is one of the best I've read in a long time. I am now on book 10, and there aren't too many series that will hold my attention like this. Although in some places the author could have shortened up the scenes, it's still very exciting and hard to put the books down. I read on the Kindle, and the author has nice sub-breaks within the chapters making it easy to say, "I'll read one more section." Before you know it, you are several chapters later. Fun read!

This is a wonderful series that I just can't seem to put down. I've read through six books in the series in just over a month. Yes these are fictional books, but they are based on biblical prophesy and it has, in an uncanny way, helped me to begin to understand the end times and why such a loving God would allow such turmoil and destruction. Even those who do not believe should read this series. It is action packed and will take you through all the emotions and bring you close to the characters. I will continue to read the series, as I am excited to read about The Glorious Appearing.

What a cliffhanger. Excited to start next book. Extremely informative and insightful. If you aren’t scared about the future you should be. God is good. Be prepared. LISTEN PLEASE.

Moves fast

This book is an accurate representation of the end times, following the biblical prhophesie, the rapture. As this book depicts the Two witnesses death and resurrection and the Antichrists death, it is thrilling. As we follow Rayford on his quest to be the chosen one to kill Carpathia the Antichrist we are left with not knowing who was the assaian. Was it Rayford with his very technological advanced saber pistol? Or Chaim who has just suffered from a stroke, but has manufactured unspeakably sharp blades made by hand. Or was it Mac. Carrying his pistol aligned directly behind Carpathia. Left with a cliff hanger like no other book it sure has me wanting more.

I lost my original set of the 16 books of this series when I moved to another state. I was heart- broken to say the least. Thanks to the sellers on Amazon I have replaced every book at very reasonable prices. Thank you Tim LaHaye & Jerry Jenkins for bringing this series to us. I have read several of your books in this series at least three times. With each reading one sees more and more and understands so much more of what the Gospels are teaching us. I also have their book "Are We Living In End Times"......this book may have been published in 2000... but for the 27 % of the Gospels that we don't spend time to study about...it's astonishing how much of this book reflects the world today in 2013. A MUST READ ALSO to have in conjunction with the Left Behind Series.

This book is certainly as good as the first book Left Behind. You simply can not turn the pages quickly enough during the last 50 pages. Of great concern was that the book was going to end too soon thus leaving the reader feeling taken advantage of - "cliffhanger to make you buy even more books." Fortunately there was enough content in this book to make it enjoyable even though it did turn into a cliffhanger which requires the reader to purchase the next book. It is unfortunate that we must wait another 6, or more, months to read the next in this series. I realize the need to do this since it increases profits - but for those who love this series, myself included, it is a painful wait. I enjoyed seeing more scripture from Revelation in this book and thought the author's views on the middle chapters were insightful. To any that might have been disappointed in book 4, which I was, this will wet your appetite for the series again, as did the 5th book.

As a non-religious person I knew very little about the Christian beliefs concerning the 'Rapture' and 'Christ's Second Coming'. I also felt a series based in religion would hold very little interest for me. How wrong I was!!! The books are fast paced, exciting and real page turners. The characters are believable and you find yourself immersed in their stories, wanting them to survive. I also learnt a huge amount and found myself considering what the Bible foretells, wondering if there actually is some truth to it. The 'Left Behind' series commanded my interest, fascinated me and changed my perspective on religion. I would recommend this series to believers and to those who may be sceptical (like I was) but who are willing to approach this with an open mind and a preparedness to be taught something as well as enjoying a fascinating read. Excellent series and extremely talented authors who know what they're talking about.

Worth reading.

Gripping storyline a must read. Pity it wasnt longer, read cover to cover in just 2 days! A book that once you start, you cant put it down!

Bought as a gift, sounded like a good read.
