Great for Kids scrapbooking
I got these for my daughters who really love making "scrapbook" pages. I used to do it for their baby/toddler albums but then the became kids and had tons of activities and i no longer had time to do anything but drive them around. They are 11 and 9 now and found all my squirreled away scrapbook supplies and paper (I had a lot, like A LOT). They jumped in full boor and there was 12"x12" paper half filled and wasted everywhere. Drove my type A/OCD/Obsessive crafter mind crazy - i had to figure out a better way for them that didnt waste so much of my supplies - not that i was using them anymore, but, you know, the principalities of the thing. Anyway - my math teacher hubby figured that you can cut 2 A5 size pieces of paper from one 12"x12" & have leftover for borders of 4"x6" or 4"x4" square pictures (he's a genius, really) so we looked for "journals" that were A5 size and came across these. These binder are great, standard 3 hole so you do not need to have a special "planner" style hole punch, just an adjustable 8.5"x11" will do, they allow for lots of stickers, washi tape, pictures, whatever to make a thick page and they have view covers/back so even more areas for decoration. As a binder they are very sturdy as Avery is known for. The rings snap open smoothly and close tightly so nothing slips out. There are inside pockets too for loose pages or pictures. They are really just mini Avery view binders - which are the best binders out there.

It arrived as promised and is "ok". No problem at all with the vendor, but I don't understand why one outer flap is not like the other. Maybe to help it lay flatter when opened? Doesn't seem necessary to me.
