Got this as a spare great quality

Perfect shifting
I installed it in my hibrid set-up Shimano SLX with SRAM eagle NX Cassette and Deore crankset. After 2 months is working fine. The only complain will be that it doesn't work too well when you pull the pedals backwards but it's acceptable.

The SLX derailleur is precise and smooth shifting. Very easy to index as well.

Too Fragile
This is the second SLX RD-M7100 that’s failed on me in less than a year. I ride regularly, but this wasn’t crash-related — both times the derailleur broke from minor impacts during normal trail riding. For a mid-tier component, I expected better durability. I believe this is more of a design or material flaw than user error. Disappointed that a part marketed for trail use can’t withstand typical conditions.
