Great for herbs and flowers
This planter box looks incredible! Assembly was fairly easy, and it's decently sturdy for the price. I can't speak to using it directly as a planter filled with dirt, as I have been using it to hold potted plants. Very convenient for moving lots of plants around to position for light/watering.

Cute & functional Cart but not really black
I have two raised garden beds and wanted to add this cart for storage and potting materials. I thought this would be a great addition because it had the grate at the bottom and enough space up top for anything I wanted, while being moveable. Overall, I really like this cart and am happy with the purchase but it’s not really black which I actually wanted. To me it’s gray and next to my black beds, there’s a significant color difference. Directions: Instructions are ok and I put it together myself without too much effort. Didn’t take too long either. Quality: Seems sturdy and rolls nicely. I put a big kale pot on the top which is very heavy and it’s holding it just fine. No bending or warping so far. Hole on top drains well so far too. I spray the plant directly and let the water run off which is nice. Color: bought this because it says it’s black but I don’t think that’s true in my case. It looks gray in person and next to my other black beds, it’s gray. If this is the correct color then I’m not sure classifying it as black is correct. Say gray or Dk gray but to me, this is misleading. I already put it together because I didn’t feel like the hassle of returning so it is what it is. Just worth noting. Overall: worth the price and worth the try

Patience Will be Rewarded
This is a great planter box. Once assembled it is durable, roomy, and convenient. However, the instructions are lacking. The first instruction includes assembling and adding the wheel. Having the unit move back and forth while trying to place nuts and screws is not using common sense. The pieces should also be identified as the exterior and interior sides of unit. Unless you pay very close attention you can place them backwards and have to start over. All that said, once it is assembled, it's a really nice addition to my deck to start an herb garden.

Easy to assemble and move around.
I honestly do not understand how some people complained about the directions or the need for a second person to assemble this product. I put this together by myself in about 40 minutes with no issues whatsoever. I carried it off my deck down to the yard and then rolled it across the lawn over to my garden area. The bottom plate has several channels that lead to a hole in the center for excess water to drain from. As someone suggested, I put a bucket under that hole so I can recycle rain water when needed. This unit is very sturdy and I currently have both Basil and Cilantro growing it. I recommend this highly, not a single sign of rust on it at all. Happy growing!!!

Best standing raised planter on Amazon!! Search no more!
Needed a raised bed planter for my south facing porch. This definitely does the trick. It was really easy to assemble. And is growing things beautifully. The only negative aspect I would say is that next year I'm definitely going to plastic line it. I use a soil mix which retains a lot of moisture and needs with watering but because of that the amount of soil mixture I had to put in there to give my plants the root depth that they needed...it made the planter very heavy ... it started to bow in the middle on the bottom... and when I overwater it even in the slightest, water comes out of every single crack pretty much instead of the middle drainage. But I have a vertical planter underneath with garlic in it that catches the extra water 😂😂 Also noteworthy, I have enough room on the storage shelf beneath for a huge vertical box planter plus extra pots, watering can and so on...and there's even room underneath of the shelf for MORE garden things LOL! But I think leaking is 100% because of the amount of dirt I had to put in there and the coconut coir heavy mixture. I am careful not to overwater and I ran a bungee strap from one side to the other underneath to give it a little more support when it's watered. Which is why I'm still giving a 5 star rating, it's more a cautionary tale 😂 On thickness and stability and so on...the metal is on the thinner side it is a very very sturdy planter when it is set up correctly. And a small miracle of an urban gardening solution. I was perusing standing raised beds for weeks to find the right one, for the right price. and this was definitely it. I live in a state that turns into a frozen tundra in from late Oct to end April... ..so I ruled out wood Planters because we would have to leave it outside being that those don't really disassemble easily, and it would start breaking down pretty fast. This is so lightweight and assembly so easy that we might put in our house for the winter and use it for something else like arts and crafts to hold all of our many supplies! I live in a 2nd story apartment too so ease of disassembly, transport and setup was also a must!!

Attractive, Functional, Easy to put together and Sturdy
Purchased for use on a patio in Florida, where we need to be able to bring things inside easily if weather threatens, or at least move into a protected area. Also for my mother who cannot bend down easily to tend a planter on the ground, this is great. The large size means plenty of space for both herbs and decorative flowers. I assembled with only the tools provided, went together easily. It is very good quality and not at all shaky as you move it around. Do make sure you follow the basic precaution of leaving everything a little loose at first, and then going back and tightening after it is all together.

Works great easy to move.
I have had this planter for a little over two years. I left it out all winter (closer to house as to avoid some of the elements ..snow ). I am able to fit 2 lettuce heads some parsley and celery (although not sure how celery will do. ) and some nasturtiums which are edible and look nice once i have to pull the lettuce out. The drainage is just right. The assembly was easy.

Pretty darn good for the price
Will it hold up for a while? Hard to say. I think it will last a season or two, but the metal is SO thin it's hard to believe it keeps it's shape. The steel used is literally thinner than metal ducting, made for HVAC. The paint (it's not powder coat, as it should be). Is good, but not great and could end up being the downfall of something garden hand tools and water will be used with. Overall the planter is quite nice when assembled. The shelf below is nice, but just a lil flimsy, so do not plan on putting too much weight on it. The planter is actually quite large and I recommend NOT filling it completely with planting mix. You should put some styrofoam peanuts or something in it first to aid in drainage as well as lighten the load of the soil. Don't over do it, but a nice layer or about 4", at the bottom. I'll post some pictures if I remember after we get some things growing in there. Fingers crossed. Pictures, as promised... Egg plant, some beans. As of 2024, staying outside year round in lower east Michigan... The planter is just like new, and still producing great veggies. No rust, or wear. Pretty darn good!
