The front comes with sensors and the rear do not. Only the rear brake pads needs sensors. One per rear pad.

This is for the whole rear axle. 4 pads comes with this kit.

so would this be ok for rear replacement pads for a 08 porsche cayenne?

I don't know if they will fit but I would look at something else. I replaced all the pads on my 2011 Q7 with this brand and totally regret it. Should have gone with the OEM or something else. My wife even notices the difference and has been asking me to replace them. You will definitely notice the lack of braking force with these pads.
