WORKS LIKE A CHARM!!!
I recently tried this cat deterrent tape to protect my furniture, and while it’s definitely on the expensive side, it delivers solid results. The quality is excellent tape is thick, durable, and sticks firmly to a variety of surfaces without leaving any residue or damaging the fabric. It’s also pet-safe, with no harsh chemicals or odors, and my cat quickly learned to avoid the areas where it was applied. The sturdiness is a major plus it holds up well over time and doesn’t peel or shift, even with regular household use. That said, it loses a few points for ease of use; peeling the backing off can be frustrating, especially when covering large sections. Still, despite the premium price and a bit of hassle during application, the long-lasting effectiveness and overall build make it a worthwhile investment if you're serious about protecting your furniture.

Works great, but be careful when removing
Great for keeping cats off counters but removal is quite tricky and leaves behind residue and marks unless done slowly.

It actually works!
Mrs bought this as our cats are obsessed with our living room windowsill. Before you judge we do love them but it was creating problems in the sense they were rubbing against the back of the curtains causing their hair to get attached to it. We were getting sick of it taking ages to clean up the hair. Many goes with the hoover to even make a little difference. Plus they kept playing with the netting that's actually attached to the window. We don't have the type of window that's hard to see into like you would in a bathroom. So we got this tape to stop them trying to pull the netting down and creating ways for outsiders to see in when we didn't particularly want anyone to see in. I was rather apprehensive about getting it as well I've never bought anything to try and discourage animals not to go into, onto areas that they shouldn't or where owners would prefer they did not go near. But seen as it was already ordered and arrived before I even have chance to properly think about it we decided to give it a go. To my surprise it works. The Mrs explained the basics of how it should work. I just didn't think that would apply to our cats. As their alittle bit odd so I genuinely thought knowing our luck they wouldn't mind the tape. But nope they hate it and since putting it down on the windowsill in the living room no further problems. Of course the cats still try and enter the windowsill but quickly leave once they realise the tape is still there. Yes I understand how the tape can be annoying under their paws but it's not doing them any harm. I keep checking to be on the safe side. It doesn't seem to cause any irritation or anything and the cats aren't in any pain afterwards. So a method that stops them from doing something we don't want them to do without causing pain is a big win in my book. Highly recommend this product. The stickiness seems to be holding pretty well. Had this most recent lot up for well its the second day. No sign of it decreasing and loosing its stick. First lot the Mrs got abit concerned about how long we could leave it before we needed to change it. So think we ended up removing it and putting more down too soon. This time round I'm making sure we can accurately test how long the stick holds for. Provided I can edit this review I will be back with an update.**EDIT - 03/03/22**Finally remembered to and had time to update lol. This product worked for a decent amount of time. However, now we are left with adhesive residue on the windowsill which we have had trouble removing after we took the tape off the windowsill to replace it. We then decided to not put more on and just concentrate on trying to remove the adhesive residue. The removal of it is an ongoing process. Unsure if this is as a result of the type of product it is or if we left the tape on there for too long. We left it on there longer than our first attempt to see how long the stickiness would last. While the timescale may have seemed reasonable to us. In regards to the product Itself it may have been just a little bit too long. In which case that would be on us.The relevance of this update is purely so people know that it can leave adhesive residue. Whether that be what the product does when used properly or what could happen if someone like us who is inexperienced with using said product uses it for too long. The fact remains it can happen by the looks of it. So I would advise to keep that in mind when purchasing. Also in regards to how long it worked keeping our cats off the windowsill. Unfortunately it didn't work as long as we would have liked. Though I think that may be more to do with our cats than the product itself. It seems at some point in time they just didn't seem bothered by it after a while. Which actually makes sense as our cats are unusual like that. Lots of things don't bother them the way they would other cats. Either straight away or after a decent amount of time. Sometimes it seems like they build up an immunity in a sense to whether or not something bothers them anymore. Sort of like when people end up not tolerating someone else's nonsense.Again mentioning this so people can keep it in mind when purchasing. As should you have cats like ours who stop being bothered by the product after a while. It'll probably be a good idea to know that it might be a possibility that it won't have the desired outcome beforehand. For the time it did work for us and our cats. It was a godsend. Now we are over trying to keep them off the windowsill. As annoying as it is for us. It seems nothing will stop them from jumping up on there.

Works but damages furniture
Did it stop my cat from scratching sofas? yes and I’m very happy about thatWhen removing it damaged my sofa which doesn’t make it furniture friendly - furniture side should be less stickyThere’s an act to the tape, stick a corner to finger then peel white backing slightly, position to desired area, then peel

Every cat ought to come with a roll of this- this is genius
I was unhappy. Exhausted by getting up and removing the cat from clawing my lovely oak screen. She created a great deal of damage- and you are advised to a) be consistentB) not shout or punish a cat.I have been consistent for months, and she seems to rather enjoy my interrupting her scratching. Why did I not know about this tape before? I tried tape and foil- to no avail.Today I covered the wood in some of this tape- it is not even very fastly secured- but WOW!!!!You wait for this scene in the movie - I never saw my sweet lil cat so horrified, but not traumatised whatsoever. She jumped up to attack the wood, and one touch of this tape stopped her in her tracks. She looked appalled, but- and this is the genius part- she has no idea I sabotaged her game.It won’t occur to her to scratch the other panels, because she is a particularly dim cat. This has saved my screen and my level of angst, with no damage done to my beloved cat.Best cat behaviour control thing i ever saw. And I have plenty left in case anything else takes her fancy. Seriously happy.

Without this tape, our cats would be launching themselves onto the telly like it’s Crufts
We’re on our third roll of this stuff—and honestly, we couldn’t function without it. Before we discovered this magical blue line of defence, our cats treated the TV unit like a personal parkour gym. Now? They take one look, feel the sticky horror beneath their paws, and think twice. It’s an absolute deterrent—works like a charm and doesn’t leave a mess when you peel it off. Just be prepared to do a bit of gentle wrangling to apply it neatly. If your furniture is under daily feline assault, this tape is the unsung hero you didn’t know you needed. Stick it, forget it, enjoy not hearing things crash to the floor every five minutes.
