I filled the concentrate reservoir in my shampooer and proceeded to shampoo a room, only to realize after doing the entire room that the reservoir was NOT releasing the concentrate into the main water tank. I didn't think much at the time bc even after a pre-vac, I was still getting up dirt. Today I redid the carpet but mixed the concentrate right in with the water(you have both options with this product as stated on the label). And WOW, what a difference! Not only the light fresh scent but all the gunk picked up. And this is in a house that's vacuumed thoroughly every week. I'm very impressed and money well spent.

I bought this for my rugs at home and in storage. There was no leakage during transit which gave me good hopes. The color of the liquid has a very faint yellow tone but we are supposed to use very little product since it goes a very long way. The quality of this product is excellent since I watched it lift dirt, making it easy to use per instructions on the bottle and the cleaning unit you use. The smell was extremely fresh and I appreciated it. I wound recommend using very little product to avoid high foaming in your shampooer. The high foam production will make you have to empty your recapture tank often and if you don’t have a large tank, this could become frustrating.It was my first time using this product and I’m happy I came across it. I want to thank the other reviewers that shared their experiences. My pups were curious about the meadow scent and it wasn’t so strong to offend delicate noses. I think it has been a great buy and would purchase again when needed.Try it. And follow all instructions for the best results. The black square is where it worked with my small shampooer. See the difference in how it cleaned up the dirt compared to the other areas and made it smell fresh. Great product.

I don’t usually write product reviews but this one is worth it. Best carpet shampoo I’ve ever used and I have tried many! After an accident on my white carpeting, I tired several cleaners and nothing really worked. This got my carpet looking new again and the smell is amazing. Yes, it may be alittle expensive but it is so worth it in the end when you don’t spend $$$ on multiple products that don’t work!

I bought this carpet cleaner after being impressed by the multiple before and after photos. I have a Hoover Spinscrub 50 carpet cleaner that I use a few times a year, and usually I have a professional carpet cleaner come in once a year but for obvious reasons that wasn't happening this year. We have two large dogs who track in a lot of dirt as well as rub off a lot of their natural skin oils onto our carpet so we need some help keeping the carpet clean! This particular area in the pictures is where they sleep in the bedroom.First, I made sure I picked/cleaned out as much excess dog hair from the Hoover as I could before using it. After vacuuming the area, I used 3 oz. in a gallon of hot water, in other words the amount for a "normal" clean according to the directions. The first photo is the "before" picture after taking one pass with my Hoover (I forgot to take it before I went over it!). It did pretty much nothing. Hmmm. Maybe I need to pretreat it. So I mixed some cleaner with water and sprayed it on, allowing it to set for about 5 minutes and went over it again. Meh. Do you not mix it with water to pretreat? It doesn't say on the bottle. I took multiple passes in different directions, as well as going over it again with just a hot water rinse and allowed it to dry. It does look somewhat better, but not what I thought. And you can still see where the carpet is stained by the nightstand (I wasn't going to bother moving furniture unless and until I saw some pretty remarkable results on my test area). In this area I actually just set the Hoover on it for several seconds and allowed the brushes to just scrub it for a while.I'm not saying it doesn't clean. It does, and as usual I got lots of blackish-brownish wastewater. I was using a Bissell "deep clean" formula that also just worked okay on normal areas but did pretty much nothing on heavily stained areas. The scent is not overpowering and yes, it's slightly minty. If anything, it does help with the dog scent in the carpet. But when I felt the carpet, I could tell there was still dog oil residue.Next time I may add the amount for a "deep" clean, actually move some of the furniture and see how it goes.
