100% Pure New Zealand Manuka Honey - UMF 20+ Certified - 250 g (8.8 oz)

This honey comes from New Zealand and has natural antibacterial properties at this specific concentration.We bought it for my 4 year old who is getting recurrent tonsillitis.We are giving her 1 table spoon a day to start with since the taste is quite strong.I am giving it 4 stars because of the crazy cost!

This product is brilliant. I will be using this to assist my recovery with my illness and also to help with my daily well being.

The taste is excellent and quality is suprer. However, the difference between UMF 15 and UMF 20 in taste is none existent.

I didn't want to 'under-rate' a product I haven't properly tested so I will revisit this review when I get a replacement jar. This is from a genuine UMF licensed company so the numbers for the chemicals present are certified and can be checked by batch number on their web site. Given this it automatically deserves at least 3 stars in my book for making the effort to license and certify a genuine product.I have always chosen UMF Manuka above MGO (which stands for methylglyoxal, a chemical that can be synthetically produced and added to any honey. The MGO tests do NOT include a marker which certifies the honey as NZ Manuka - UMF does and is therefore the only guarantee that you're getting a genuine untouched NZ Manuka product).The price was the keenest I could find for a UMF 20+ Certified Manuka Honey . In terms of it's medicinal potential, as the numbers are certified, I'm sure it's as good as any other (although none of these things have been proven as far as I can see).

Great honey, shame it runs out too quick especially if you take a tea spoon a day.
