Q: Is this price for case of 12 or one bottle?

I've been using the gel for some dozen years or so. Way too pricey, but it works. (I have illness caused, chronic dry mouth.) They reformulated the gel and not only does it taste awful, it's like water! I called the company to complain/inquire. They sent a couple coupons and a 1.5 oz. bottle of spray for me to try. It's not at all like the old gel but, I figured, it'll have to do. I just got a bottle at CVS for $8.29 less the coupon. Still wayyyy too expensive. Here, on Amazon, they are asking for $16.99??? Are they outta their @#$%^&'n minds???11/27/14: An update: As others have said, it's available, locally, in many cases, and incredibly less expensive. As Clifford Ford commented above, I, too, am offended that LivWell dare charge so much. There's a difference between 'profit margin' and rip off. I'd place them in the later category.

After reading the label on the small spray I have, there's a phone # 800-922-5856 week-days.My spray has never been more than a straight shoot, so I rarely use it. I prefer Thayer's dry mouth spray instead. There are no ingredients on my little bottle, so I've no idea where you read hydrogenated castor oil. They should be able to answer any and all questions. don't think so. i was unhappy with my spray biotene. it squirted a pin point stream, not a spray. only affected one spot
