MX-5500 8 Digits Price tag Gun with 5000 Sticker Labels, Pricing Gun Kit for Office, Retail Shop, Grocery Store (A/Red)

I was skeptical at first when I saw the price for this item. One week later I have priced 5,000 baseball cards and have had no issues at all. Once you get the label loading under your belt, it is a smooth process. A great value and a work horse!

The product is exactly as shown. The order came with the extra supplies and well written instructions. Very good print quality and functionality.

Works as advertised, but has some issues. I bought this to tag customer repairs to make sure the right item goes back to my customers. It worked great at first, but after using it for a few months, the tags don't always come out enough to apply to the product. It comes with a few rolls of the tags, which worked great at first, but over time became less sticky, so I frequently find them on the ground or shelves, leaving the items untagged. Sometimes even pressing them into place isn't enough to keep them on. It's easy to mess it up, too; if it gets pulled a little bit when tearing off the excess backing, it'll get out of alignment and the print doesn't line up with the tags, forcing you to have to take it apart and re-run the tape. After doing this enough times, the clear cover broke, and doesn't stay closed anymore. It was a quick fix with superglue, but it shouldn't have happened. Overall, I wish I'd spent a little more on something nicer, but for a starting business, it still does the job.

A little tricky to use but once you use it a couple times it’s very convenient and easy. You can easily look up videos to watch how to load it with more labels/ink .

I am replacing two Monarch 1136 marking guns that I purchased used and have had for over 20 years. I have worn them out and some of the numbers and characters have either fallen off or have worn so badly they will not print. I no longer use them enough to warrant purchasing a new one. I chose the MX-5500 because the labels have the 2 red lines to add contrast to the tag. I always purchased the fluorescent labels for my Monarch pricing guns. Other inexpensive guns have plain white labels that do not stand out enough. For my needs the MX-5500 is an affordable alternative. I have printed a few labels and am pleased with the results. This 8 digit price gun works for me as I do not require 2 lines with department listing capabilities. Depending on how often you will use the pricing gun and features you need, the MX-5500 may work for you.

Great size. Was looking for something on the smaller size but yet have great durability and functionality. This has that. The print quality is great

The worst item ever. Quality so cheap. So hard to work on it.can’t bald to see the numbers. On top of that got broke by self in a month. Trash

I really like this price tag machine. Really easy to use, it's lightweight and it works just fine for me. I got it to add dates to my homemade jam's.
