Good purchase, good rake, screw housing broke immediately
Love the product. Upgraded from the small, plastic rake part I bought 2 years ago. That old one lost 5 teeth after 3 years of heavy use. I’ve used this new one once. The metal forks work great and I was happy with the slider clamp. It stayed in place. Best of all, the rake screws on to my 30ft Doca pole tightly. One problem, and this needs to be fixed, is the screw housing immediately tore off, first use. Because of the tight fit, and the lower price I paid, under $18, I’m not returning it. If I had paid more, It would be an issue. The screw housing is a problem on both Doca brand rakes I bought, the metal adjustable and the small plastic one. So it would be nice if they updated the design with metal housing.

Not For Roof Snow Removal
I got the adjustable rake attachment for the Doca Pole to remove snow from my roof that's right above my entry way, so that the melting and then freezing would not occur on my front stoop. The rake does not work for that purpose. I should have gone with a hoe type attachment. And it twists and is not stable. May be good for general raking but not snow removal.

Useful
I added this to a handle I have (that also can attach a squeegee) and it works great for reaching the pine needles and leaves in my rain gutters. Yay !

Not Sturdy, Cannot Recommend unless you want a disposable rake or have a lot of duct tape!
This rake as advertised was going to be the best tool in my garage. It would keep me off the roof to take the leaves out of the valleys of my roof. It never worked great as it is designed with the rake adjustment handle pointing down where it scrapes the roof as you pull down. None the less, it was still better than getting on the roof. I used it 3 times and was thrilled with it. The fourth time (4 times!), the rivets popped from the rake alignment bar that is used to adjust the width of your tines. Keep in mind that you have to lift it slightly when it is on a 12 foot pole to get it off the roof. The rivets popped upon a 6 or 8 inch drop from lifting it up the valley. The photos show it back in its natural state, when I pulled it off the roof, the tines were everywhere making it unusable. I can't fault the warranty department for not covering it as it was out of warranty. But come on! 4 Times! That is one expensive disposable rake. I suppose I'll duct tape it into position and continue to use it, but I cannot recommend it, especially for the cost.

Finally something long enough to work!
Finally, we found something that will work to get those leaves out of the roof valleys! I bought the 30' foot pole and it is quite adequate. My husband can finally clean them without going up onto the roof. A huge relief. It is just a little heavy and awkward, but well worth it. Since we just got it today, the extension components are stiff and a little challenging, but I know that will work itself out. We also got the rake attachment, and that is what works best for those nasty leaves. I'm hoping that the soft brush will be something we can use to more efficiently clean the solar panels. We have only used it the one time today, but I think we are going to like it.

almost perfect
this rake head on a quality paint pole is an awesome tool. got a deck that gets leaves under it - this can squeeze into places your blower or conventional rake can’t get. I have made all sorts of contraptions from 3/4” or 1” pvc with a rake handle named in side to taping a broken rake to a paint stick. No more, this can get supper narrow or wide depending on the need. so what’s my gripe? the set screw needs to be relocated. It currently sits on the bottom of the rake (6 o’clock). it it were I stead located at 3 or 9 o’clock it would not damage the surface you are raking. I can get leaves off of low sloped shingle roofs with this but I have to be extremely careful so I don’t scratch/damage the roof. if the wing nut was on the top (12 o’clock) it could break or damage surfaces when you go under something- on the side would be perfect! highly recommend.

Well designed product. Reasonably lightweight but a solid construction. Purchased with a rake attachment to use on our garage roof to remove moss and pine needles. Worked brilliantly. Would highly recommend .

Great concept, poor design. The wing nut is placed on the bottom to the rake, it should be on the top. Also, it is difficult to get the tines to contact the roof. It requires a bit of manoeuvring to make this work. I was hoping for a better result.
