Sharp YO-520P Memo Master

Almost like the one I had before - 20 years - and thought I couldn't find another to replace it. Unfortunately, I lost all my data so have to enter it all anew but it's simple to do. This thing has been my "life" for all these years. I'm ecstatic that I did not have to go to an unfamiliar "new" device for storing my addresses, phone nos. etc. It's so compact and easy to carry around. It was used and half or less of the price for a brand new one. The vendor was accurate in his information and prompt in his shipping. Going through Amazon.com/marketplace was a new experience for me - very easy and quick since we already had an account with Amazon.com. If this device lasts as long as the other one I'll be dead, no doubt, as I'm over 70 now! Thanks SHARP!!!!! We have other Sharp products that have lasted a long time and been very reliable.

I purchashed this product in the spring of 2010. The product starting losing pixels with each week of use. It is now 4 months later and the product is essentially useless because there are so many pixels missing I cannot read anything that I programmed into it.When I contacted the seller about this problem after 2 months of use I was told that I was trying to scam her. I am the one who has been scammed, as I purchased a defective product that is now unusable.

This organizer arrived in perfect condition and in its original box. It works BEAUTIFULLY. And it arrived on the date that was promised. God bless you, 805dealz!!

Great product. It's every bit as portable as a cell phone. Keeping all my important phone numbers and notes on my cell has always been a concern for me. In early 2K I had this product for several years and really loved it. It became non-functional about a decade ago due to taking it to Jamaica, where the humidity "killed" it. I've been been looking for another one, off and on, for a long time. The only problem is that it no longer comes with instructions and I've forgotten how to use some of the functions.

I ORDERED THIS ITEM. IT ARRIVED PROMPTLY BUT DID NOT WORK. ADVISED THEM OF THIS AND SENT IT BACK REQUESTING A REFUND. THEY CHARGED ME A $79.00 RESTOCKING FEE. ARE THEY GOING TO RESELL THIS ITEM THAT IS DEFECTIVE? THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE TO ME.

I purchased this beautiful Memo Master as a backup for the one I have now. Imagine my dismay when I tried to transfer the data on my computer to the Memo Master. I connected the standard 9-pin cable to my COM port 1 and the other end of the cable to the computer link of the organizer. I then turned on the organizer, pressed the PCSYNC button and using the Sharp YO-520 software tried to do a full transfer from my computer to the organizer only to get a message telling me that a connection could not be established!!! I tried several times to no avail. I know the connection works because I use it with my other MEMO MASTER. Apparantly the problem is with the MEMO MASTER I just purchased. I am very upset.

A little disappointing. Versatile options but rather complicated to use and screen smaller that I imagined. Seems to work fine once once your memos and addresses/numbers are loaded. Probably would not order again.

Works as a nice memo and address listing. Problem is the the recent programs have a problem handling the older formats. Not everything needs to be highly evolved, only work the easy way to provide the information you need.
