Did the job just fine.
I had a bass that the OEM style blend pot was NOT available. I bought this because it was "close enough" and the price was right. I tested 2 of them, and it was within usable tolerance. I installed it, and it did just fine.

brass vs what ever they use
I am sure that most all people working on guitars would like to have brass pots but you would also have to dig down a little deeper in your pocket. It is partially a mind thing because at the end of the day who really knows but you because the non brass ones do preform.

Factory rejects?
The pots have both waffles the same. I.e. they have 0 ohm from one side to the middle, then both increase to 250k. Looks like they are factory rejects. Reading other reviews, they were proper potentiometers, but I tested 2 out of 5, both were assembled from wrong parts.

ok build construction. I got them for a home audio application balance control and they will serve me well. But at the middle detent position they are sitting around 10 ohms for one and 12 ohm for the other. for line level audio the difference wont be noticeable but for a guitar this might pose a problem.

Long shaft?
Ordered these since they said they were long shaft and they were not. Had to mod the guitar to make them fit. Also I'm not sure what kind of metal the lugs are made out of but it was near impossible to get the solder to flow. I guess it's what you would expect for pots in this price range.

They will not zero.
The center will leave about 1K ohms on either side. You can't zero both at the same time. They are well made and will work on equipment that is 250 K ohms or better, but not with 8K ohm pickups wired directly to them.
