Overall a very good camera with a very good picture. Only drawback for me, is that it only works on the 2.4 wifi band. This gave me problems when setting it up. Once I got that sorted out and installed, the camera worked great. It has a very clear picture and the phone alerts for sound and movement are great. Very good device for the price. Directions were very easy to follow for setting up the camera.

Hubbers installed this so I can be alerted by motion and make sure no chickens have gotten past my defenses in the garden. They already dug up my potatoes and took a bath in my lettuce bowl. I really like it. First thing important to me is the price. I think this is a great value. It installs very easily and has a nice video quality. The picture is 1080p. I can watch the chickens with an app on my phone, without flying out of the house. Now, when, “I think I heard something!” I can just look on the camera. I haven’t utilized any night vision because I don’t need it for the birds. I wanted to write this because I have mobility issues and this is so convenient. I don’t spend my “rest” days checking and worrying. Because of that, I am able to use that energy in the garden where I WANT to. I gives me a bit of independence from asking people to go check for me. The only dislike I have about the camera is my own failing, not the camera. I have a condition which makes learning and retention very difficult. I struggled with the assembly a bit, but with help it was fine.

I bought this camera to replace a cheaper one that was vandalized. The old one had worked perfectly 24/7 for three years with never an outage. Unfortunately, this camera gives me nothing but outages. Every 10 to 20 minutes the image freezes and a message appears "In idle, click refresh". Then the process repeats. This happens with two different Android tablets using their app called "YCC365 Plus", which is required. It happens when using the Chrome browser on a PC. There, the video just stops and the screen displays the "Play" icon. I contacted the vendor who suggested that I must have a network problem. The network is the same as the one my old camera used. It has a strong Wi-Fi signal. I even placed a range extender 3 ft from the camera as an experiment- no change. I will note that I can ping the camera using the PC command ping -t [IP ADDRESS] and the camera consistently responds with a reply in 2 ms., without interruption, even when the video freezes. I have no explanation for why the camera can reply to a ping at the same time it drops the video stream. Anyway, since I was unable to get the camera to work for longer than 20 minutes, I was forced to return it. Your experience may be better. I would like to mention two other factors you may wish to consider. First, the camera does NOT support the RTSP (Real Time Streaming Protocol). If it did, you could use any number of third party viewers to view the stream, such as VLC for Android. Otherwise, you are locked into their app. Second, the night IR illumination mainly covers the center of the image. It becomes a washed-out dim grey on the left and right of the frame. It's great the camera has a wide-angle lens, but unfortunately the IR illumination is more of a spot beam (so they can claim longer distance), and it only covers the middle of the image at night.

I got this camera about a month ago and it has been suitable for its intended purpose: giving me a line of sight to my driveway which is on the side of my house. The image quality and the audio have been better than I imagined. The setup was straight forward. I watched some videos by other reviewers and then followed the instructions on getting the app and connecting to my home WiFi - this was quick and I had no issues here. I placed the camera above my garage door, and screwed it in with the accompanying screws. I had to use a 25ft extension cord to get to the outlet on the ceiling of my garage. The cable that came with the camera is barely 4ft long, so if your outlet is not close by get yourself an extension cord. Besides that, the installation was straight forward and relatively easy. The day time image quality is excellent *see pic*... The night vision is also quite good and I was impressed by that. Here are few things I am not impressed by: 1) There is sometimes a loss of connectivity that causes a continuous looping of an image loading. I have to close the app and open it again sometimes to reload. 2) The motion and sound detection was way too sensitive and when I check on a notification, there isn't anything that I can see that may have triggered it. So, I had to turn off Sound detection all together and set motion detection to Low. 3) There is a slight delay between an action outside and a notification via the app. All in all, this is a good purchase and I recommend this product. I installed a 126GB SD card in the camera and my recordings are stored on it. I view playbacks on the app and that is very convenient. I didn't bother signing up for the cloud storage - no need. The two way audio is quite clear from the camera and from the app. It has come in handy too. Weather-wise, the camera has stood up to very high winds for hours, rain, snow and an icy rain event which dipped the temperatures in to the teens. For what i needed and the purpose, this camera works very well and is adequately suited. I recommend this product.

I am going to be installing these in various places around the house and property since it has night vision they will work without setting up flood lights that will affect the neighbors. Even using it inside I can watch my dogs to make sure they are doing ok. Even switching to night vision on the fly is easy enough. I can also talk and listen through the camera so if the UPS driver shows up I can ask him to place a box in the porch vault if I am not home.

(Edited after a few months on) Constantly disconnects, requires reboot almost daily. Where mounted, this is very impractical. Total pain in the ass. Wish I’d never bought. (Edited after receipt of a replacement unit.) Original camera had great difficulty connecting and range about 1 meter. Replacement connects fine, has good range. Setup binding of the camera to wifi is extremely simple but I did need to repeat it twice and then the connection was rock solid Night vision and IR illumination is good, especially within 5 meter range. Motion sensing would be perfect for large, close-in targets like humans approaching a door or residence, but not ideal as a game camera. Mine only triggers in response to falling tree debris, never to forest animals. I get pictures of deer and raccoons in the medium distance, but the motion sensing never happens when they walk into field of view, only when a leaf or something falls into view and triggers the motion sensing. I think the animals creep in too slowly to activate the motion sensing. Picture quality is pretty good. So as a normal security camera, this one is a good value, easy to set up, a couple glitches but works great in the end. Especially given the excellent customer service (replacement sent in 2 days, no questions) I would recommend this product as a security camera.

The camera works just fine. The interface with the phone app is a little quirky and getting it to connect to the WiFi normally takes a few tries. The instructions aren't terribly clear but with a little patience you'll get it figured out. The connection to either the phone or the web app is "buggy". My home internet is pretty much rock solid and the camera sits maybe 20' from the router. However....wither I'm at home or out, the connection to the camera from my phone (or the desktop app) will drop seemingly at random. I've tried changing channels on my router (possible interference) and various other troubleshooting steps with no luck. I didn't pay for the cloud storage. I used the motion control at first to only record to the internal memory. This works....but the window of time it records is always truncated. It should really trigger then start the recording window a few seconds earlier....and run for a few seconds after the detection stops to provide some kind of context. The internal storage is only accessible from the phone app which is really annoying. And....like everything else that connection is "buggy" so often you get this annoying little cycling circle while it's trying to connect/update. Overall....this was the best $40 I've ever spent in my life though. I used it to catch my cheating wife going back and forth to the house and various other visitors to my former residence and then lie to my face about it. My friend named the camera "Tom" for Peeping Tom. It did the job.
