Q: Can it be used for pepper spray for the office and coworkers?

A small piece of plastic comes down and presses on the top of the spray can. As long as you created a platform for the pepper spray to sit on (to disperse thru the hole) or cut out a hole for the spray to shoot through, you should be able to attach something on the plastic depressor to activate the pepper spray. **Word of warning- When I first tried pepper spray, my friend and I failed to notice the very light breeze that day. While the stream of pepper spray worked perfectly, an invisible cloud of ultra fine mist wafted back towards us. It caused both of our faces to burn intensely and made us sprint to the hose. Please remember that this was caused by an invisible, ultra-fine mist that was carried by the lightest of breezes. ***Moral of the story: Sometimes, less is more. You don’t need much to cause damage. ***Better Idea: I would suggest covering up the pepper spray to look like a small bottle of perfume/cologne. Then you leave it in the bathroom with a note saying that you (insert the name of someone you don’t like) are trying to get feedback on this new scent and people are welcome to try it out as long as they leave their feedback. Leave a few sheets of paper and a pen to complete the look and then kick back to watch the horror ensue. Granted it will probably only work once, but I sure as heck wouldn’t want to be the person to “try the new scent”.

No , The batteries do not come with it.Please also buy some double A batteries .

Q: Does this sprayer have to be set at least 6 ft off the floor like the larger air wick sprayers ?

Yes, all of these type aerosols are designed to be 5+ feet off the floor so they can spread throughout the room/space it's in.

Q: So is it keyed for mounting? Or do I have to drill holes in the unit to mount it?

There is a hole in the back if you do wish to put it on the wall so no worries on having to drill a hole into it. :)
