Works well, better than plastic alternative

Just place it UNDER the large hole in the lampshade, place over the lamp holder and screw up the fixing tube or ring until tight. Worked a treat. AAMOI. As we now have basically COLD LED bulbs, I have found the fixing ring or tube does not get hot and distort, so it unscrews easily. Not tight as they used to be, or even break as they are so distorted then stuck. Another BIG + for LED type bulbs.

Really works a must have in the draw incase needed

I thought this may be useful, but plastic make the lampshade a bit fiddly.
