Works perfectly with my retro fitted android unit. No more android clunkyness:-). Literally installed the app, plugged it in to the USB port and connected the phone via Bluetooth (you can use the usb on the port if you want to do it wired) and that’s it. Perfect! Also the idrive controls work and the touchscreen is much more responsive - essentially because CarPlay is actually on the phone.

It didn’t work from my system

Works fine with cable but for wireless with iphone is slow.

Amazing little dongle. Set up was a little tricky but it was working within 10 minutes. I can now keep my phone in my pocket for short journeys or chuck it on the wireless charger for longer journeys. If I had to give a slight downside it is that there is about 1 second of lag between pressing a button and the action happening, but I’d rather put up with that instead of plugging my phone in every time I get in and out of the car.

I got this for a retro-fit Android double-din in my Golf Mk4. Download and install were easy and the product works as described.

Absolutely useless. Not worth a penny

Doesn’t work for me. Loses wireless connection after a few mins then won’t reconnect, even over USB. Crashes the app constantly. Returned and got another model which uses the same app but doesn’t crash, so I strongly believe the issue is hardware.

Perfect & really good quality. Fairly easy to install... I done it 1st time. Much better than my other standard CarPlay.

This little device is awesome! I have a wired carlinkit CarPlay dongle in another car and decided to pick this up for the wireless CarPlay. It works very well! Wireless CarPlay connected to my iPhone XS in under 15 seconds and my music automatically begins to play. Amazing setup and I’ll definitely be picking up another to replace my wired dongle!

El producto va fenomenal y muy sencillo de instalar

Prima di tutto bisogna chiarire cosa significa Wireless, il dongle si collega tramite Bluetooth, naturalmente dopo aver fatto pairing, ma la connessione Bluetooth non viene usata per i funzionamento effettivo ma solo per accedere il telefono alla wifi del dongle, dopodiché il bluetooth si scollega, quindi unifica che non si può utilizzare il telefono come hotspot e o per collegarsi ad un altra qualsiasi rete wifi, se si ha questa necessità si deve collegare il telefono al dongle con il cavo. Fatta questa precisazione funziona benissimo con iOS 13, nuovo CarPlay, e una autoradio android. Rettando l'avvio automatico entrando in auto anche con il telefono in tasca dopo una decina di secondi appare sull'autoradio la finestra di carplay

Hab das Gerät jetzt 2 Monate im Einsatz. Autoradio ist ein älteres Pumkin Model (3 Jahre alt), Android, 8 1 GB Ram usw... Gerät angeschlossen, APK installiert und erst mal 20 min gewartet. Dongle liegt zwischen Fahrer und Beifahrer sitz an einem 2 Meter USB-Kabel. Lag vermutlich auch am Radio, das die Installation so lange gedauert hat. Danach nur noch iPhone 13 pro per Bluetooth mit dem Dongle verbunden, am Auto Radio bestätigen und kurz warten. Carplay startet auf dem Handy und fertig. Hab es jetzt wie gesagt 2 Monate im Einsatz und bis heute nur 1x einen Absturz gehabt (tägliche Nutzung von rund 2h), einfach die App beenden auf dem Autoradio und neu starten. Wenn ich das Auto starte und mein Radio gebootet ist (20 sec) dauert es immer zwischen 5-15 sec, bis sich das Autoradio automatisch mit meinem Handy verbindet und Carplay startet. Einzige Problem, was ich habe, wenn mein Handy in der Hosentasche ist. Dort ist der GPS-Empfang mies ... Wer hätte es gedacht... Waze versucht dann Signal zu finden und man springt mit dem Auto erst mal 10 min über die Map. Ich bin zufrieden ... Handy kann man in der Hosentaschen/Jacke/Tasche lassen. Musik (Apple Music, Spotify usw) funktionieren tadellos. Keine Unterbrecher in der Musik oder Ähnliches. Keine Verbindungsabbrüche selbst bei langen Fahrten.
