Rear Window Louvers

These louvers have a very nice design. I had mine painted to match my car and the installation was simple and easy. They are a little flimsy but once they are on they look great. The fit was also very good. If you are looking for louvers with a little bite different shape to them I will recommend these. Worth every cent.

Fits window fine, but you'll need to buy a roll of 3M VHB tape to stick the brackets down, and a tube of medium-strength thread locker for the nuts. They are made of Chinesium and will jump a thread even when hand tightening.

This product looks awesome on my 2004 mustang GT however it’s to wide no matter how I place it on the car and I had to modify it so it would fit and it was very annoying because I didn’t want to waste all the money this thing cost the part was defective from the factory in that it’s to wide for my car

Looks bad ass plain and simple. I've had them for a year now so I can give an honest review I feel. The have actually held up and are not cracked or broken. I was worried cause they are plastic. They also actually keep the back of the car cooled off as what they were originally made for back in the day. And they make the car look alot cooler. Since I've gotten them I've started seeing other newer mustangs and challengers put elm on their cars. As before no one had elm. The down side is the hardware is plastic. Witch so far has held up and I haven't had any fly loose. The retaining washer and nut are also plastic. I tryed to put locktight on 1 of elm and it started to melt the threads of the hardware post. I replaced the plastic nut cap with a metal nut and fixed the problem. Jeggs sells metal hardware for about $50 plus shipping and you only get 6 brackets of witch 3 are hinged. May want to go that route but for the mustang it has 9 retainers. So somthin to also consider. They to make an aluminum version of these louvers but they look a little bit different and they cost over $700. So you get what you pay for.

Gone in two days, went for a ride and the screws just detached frome the louver. Can't blame myself because I've made sure that the brackets was properly adhered

Before you buy: take this review in consideration. Took me 3 seperate attempts to install these louvers. The supplied brackets would not properly adhere to the window, even after thoroughly cleaning the window and stripping it of any residual cleaning solutions. So I ordered "upgraded" brackets from ikon and tried again. Same issue, so I ordered new tape, pulled the old tape off the brackets and replaced it with new 3m tape and tried again. Finally got the brackets to stick, however, the louvers did not properly fit the back window. They were a little too wide. So I used a sander/ polisher tool and I sand the edges of the louvers so they would fit better. Once finally installed and allowed the car to sit for a few days, I went on a day trip and I noticed that at 70(ish) mph, they rattle, bad. And that's with foam installed on each individual louver. That being said, they make the car a little more unique and stand out a little bit more at shows. I have got complimented on them and I personally think that they look decent. I don't think that the price is worth the frustration though. These were a "plan B" louver because the initial louvers I wanted were on intergalactic back order. If I could do it all over again, I probably wouldn't buy them. The fit and finish as well as over all quality is probably a 4 out of 10. But ultimately, you make the choice that best suits you and your budget.

This item is beyond what pictures can provide the amazing detail they put into this is amazing I have a 2000 mustang sunburst gold and this just sends it over the top the company is fast with shipping and amazing customer service the Louvers are thick and have an awesome look to the car after installed install takes about 20-30 min you have to use everything they give you an will turn out amazing!!! Can’t wait to take this car out an watch heads turn

Louvers came damaged
