Good quality
Great quality thread perfect for sashiko sewing. The thread is slightly elastic and an off white color.

Wonderful Thread
This is my first use of Sachiko thread and I love it. I use a Sachiko needle to hand quilt and it’s a joy to work with. A beautiful white, just thick enough for my use and easy to use. Hint-google how to unravel it or you will have an unusable tangle.

Yokota is my favorite brand for Sashiko
Beautiful thread that’s easy to work with—threads smoothly through the needle, and the colors are absolutely fabulous!

Beautiful thread
Smooth and easy to use. Doesn't split like other cotton thread.

Nice Ecru Thread
Beautiful ecru thread. It’s thinner than the super white cotton thread in my Sashiko kits, but it’s perfect for future projects. Great buy. It was shipped with my rabbit tote Sashiko kit but isn’t part of that kit.

Works great and looks just like those sashiko projects online
Regular weight, off white-colored sashiko thread. It’s easy to use and the weight and type of stitching looks like projects in your favorite videos and books, once you get the hang of making the running stitches even.Recommend also buying a set of sashiko needles and a thimble if you want to do this type of embroidery or repair. I did my first project without a sashiko thimble and my fingers paid the price! If you’re not doing sashiko style sewing with this thread, other types of embroidery needles would work fine with it.My only problem with the thread is that I was never able to find the starting point / end of the skein, so I just had to cut it in the middle and cut lengths from there. So, the skein is kind of a mess.

Sashiko thread so much better than embroidery thread
I have been learning sashiko and the real thread is so much better to work with than embroidery floss. It's also stronger and smoother, so well worth a little extra expense.
