Exactly what I needed and feels very durable
The TEKTON 1/8 Inch Roll Pin Punch has become an essential tool in my arsenal for firearms maintenance, specifically for punching out trigger guard roll pins. This punch delivers reliable performance and exceptional durability, making it a must-have for any gun owner or enthusiast. Here's why I highly recommend it: First and foremost, the 1/8 inch size of this roll pin punch is perfect for working with trigger guard roll pins. It fits precisely into the pin's diameter, ensuring a secure grip and precise application of force. I've found it to be highly effective in removing roll pins without causing any damage to the surrounding components. The build quality of the TEKTON Roll Pin Punch is outstanding. It is constructed from durable hardened steel, which makes it sturdy and capable of withstanding repeated use and heavy-duty tasks. The punch feels solid in hand, providing confidence and control during operation. The knurled handle of the punch offers a secure and comfortable grip, allowing for precise and controlled strikes. This design feature ensures that the force is evenly distributed, minimizing the risk of slipping or marring the surface of the firearm. Additionally, the punch's overall design facilitates easy maneuverability and access to hard-to-reach areas. It has a slim profile, making it ideal for reaching tight spaces and confined areas around the trigger guard. The TEKTON 1/8 Inch Roll Pin Punch is also affordably priced, offering exceptional value for the quality and performance it delivers. It is a reliable and cost-effective tool that will serve you well for years to come. In conclusion, the TEKTON 1/8 Inch Roll Pin Punch is an indispensable tool for anyone who needs to remove trigger guard roll pins or perform other precision work on firearms. Its precise size, durable construction, comfortable grip, and maneuverability make it an excellent choice for gun enthusiasts and professionals alike. I highly recommend this punch for its reliability, durability, and overall value.

Good quality punches, use them correctly
I've had several Tekton punches before, bought locally, and really they're pretty decent. Still marked made in the USA...I suspect maybe by Wilde or Enderes, which have both always put out good tooling. Tiny long punches like this 1/16" are comparatively delicate (all of them, even the highest quality ones) so keep that in mind and if your pins are particularly tight fitting, frozen, or rusted, then use a drop of penetrant and a center punch to get them started, then follow through with this one. That usually still works just fine with roll pins as it does with solid pins and is the smart approach to preventing punch heartache or scratched parts. If you're bending them you may be using them incorrectly and you have to keep in mind that with the smallest punches like this, they are supposed to bend rather than shatter (there is a good metallurgical reason for this and nobody sells small punches with a heat treatment that makes them extra hard/stiff...you don't have enough mass to accommodate it until you move up to larger sizes). The tip on these actually measures the same as the current Starrett, which is a hair over 1.5mm (.0597...1.516mm) rather than 1/16". If that matters to you you'll have to look elsewhere but it'll be hard hunt. Behind the tip, these are correctly and very slightly relieved for clearance (.0590) but less so than other brands...enough to help, though. Usable pin length is just shy of an inch (about 24mm). If you need more length and can do without the nib, the Gedore 1.5mm punch gives you about a quarter inch more to work with (30mm) and is an excellent punch (Starrett still being a bit better steel but also not offering any long pin punches below 1/8"). No reason not to recommend these punches from Tekton and the handful of others I've had have served very well...just use them smartly. It's nice that they will stand behind defective (or abused) punches the way they do...almost nobody else will do that...and still manage to keep the pricing low.

decent budget punch
this is a decent 1/16th punch. I've used it for a lot of things, I need another one, these smaller punches don't have enough metal in them so they're a little soft. I've bent this one numerous times. if I take a little time and use a brass hammer I can straighten it back out and continue using it till I bend it again. Eventually the end will break off and I'll order another one. They work well enough and it holds up to the abuse I give it. This is my second one.

Supahappy
Used for inserting metal roll punches into a metal aperature. Works fine, no problems. There is a small detent on the tip rather than flat. Did not bend under moderate use. Also bought Tekton 1/16 with same positive results.
