Worked great sending contact mic signals wirelessly!
Used with 1/4 phone barrel adapter (female/female coupler) to send contact mic signals wirelessly. AT transmitter pack set to instrument level. Nice spring lock connector.

but I can already tell that this is much better than the standard version
I just got the cable and have not had a chance to plug it in yet, but I can already tell that this is much better than the standard version. I have been through a couple of the standard cables since I have had my system so I decided to go with the pro version this time in hopes that it would hold up a little better than the standard. From the looks I think it should, everything about it seems to be of higher quality and better build than the regular cable, I think it was worth the extra money.

Great cable!
I had acquired an outdated ATUS WR5 wireless system in a trade with a musician friend who had upgraded. The unit worked good, but the instrument cable was loose and crackled badly. I was so happy to find this replacement at a great price! I also like that the cable is about 6" longer than the old one and that it has a quality molded plug. I switch instruments often in live performance and it is holding up well. Seller was good and I received my cable promptly. I may order another for backup.

DOA....but wait!
Dead out of the box - past the return date. My fault for not checking it when it arrived. Guess I'll buy the pro model and hope that works....UPDATE: I had my transmitter set to MIC instead of INSTR - it works fine now! Bought the pro model as well - the cord is better, but they seem to function the same.

Does what its supposed to
Make sure you know what type of connector your mic pack uses. Very handy to connect to a mobile device. (You'll need a 1/4 to 1/8" adapter plug and headphone dongle if you want to connect to your Apple device)

I like to make my own cords (especially since the AT cables are so long (36") and on my Les Pauls (I prefer the right-angle plugs for my LPs and the straight plugs for my Strats) I only need about 12". However, at this price, the assembled cord costs less than I could purchase the necessary parts (the Hirose 4-pin connector, alone is $12 + shipping). I have several of these cables and they all work perfectly.

Good price
Works fine. Exact fit. Standard gauge. Not a heavy duty cable.
