This mat is so comfortable to use. It’s definitely NOT like being on a hard surface. I use it at work for stretching and the kneeling pad is so helpful. I am not a regular yoga person and am often dressed in non-yoga clothes. The kneeling pad keeps me completely off the floor and makes getting up/down so much easier. This was an excellent purchase and I recommend for anyone who wants/needs padding. Having said that, it is not so padded as to cause any issues with balance. Super cute colors and so easy to un-roll/roll up right in my office. Strap makes it easy to transport and keep the mat rolled up securely. Definitely worth the money and would recommend it for anyone looking for a good quality mat with a nice thickness.

I purchased this mat and I'm so happy I did. It is better than what I expected. It's very comfortable and supportive with the exercises that I do. I'm a big girl and I will not do any floor exercises without this mat!! It supports me in length and width. It's smooth on one side and rigid on the other. I exercise on carpet so I put the rigid side down and use the smooth side. I was worried it would be too thin but it's the opposite; it's nice and thick. I love to just lay on it after working out. I can almost go to sleep on it. This mat is THEE most important piece of equipment I have purchased as I am new to working out. I will certainly purchase this again without any doubts. I love that I can roll it away and attach the carrier strap to it and just put away. It also came with a small knee pad! That's excellent to use if I only need to support my knees without rolling out the entire mat. I am so pleased with this purchase.

I had a knee replacement and had to perform some core strengthening exercises along with exercises for my knee. It was extremely difficult to do any exercises without a mat. I ordered this one and it just what I needed. It is soft and durable at the same time. Easy to roll up and easy to transport with the carrying handles. This mat does not slip on my hardwood floors making me more comfortable to do more strenuous exercises. The grip on the floor is so strong that I am not afraid of falling and sustaining an injury to my knee or any other part of my body. I would recommend that if you have knee replacement surgery that you have a solid chair or stool to help you get up and down. Nothing to do with the mat. The mat is great. This is just to help ensure you don't sustain a fall. Overall, I give this mat five stars. It also has a separate pad that came with the mat just for your knees. It is the same width of the matt and about 12 inches wide. This has been extremely helpful for me after my knee replacement surgery. You can't go wrong purchasing this matt. It is well worth the money and very durable.

This is the second one of these I have purchased and I've been so delighted with it. It is thick, well made, and I like the extra mat because it works well for my knees. The color is just right as well. It is slip resistant and has a good grip too. Also it doesn't come with a horrendous smell which is wonderful so it doesn't have to be aired out! It does have some markings from where it's tightly wound up with the carrying strap. I highly recommend this product!

I'm 6'3", 260 lbs., looking for a mat for my ab routines at the gym. For just shy of $20 after taxes and free shipping, this is a decent, cheap mat. It's soft and a little stretchy, which worries me about its long term durability. But since it's only 71" long anyways, I tend to do planks and other moves that might stretch/tear the mat with my feet off on the hard floor. It didn't slide easily on a smooth gym floor with my weight on it. I like the included carrying strap and knee pad (an extra piece of the exact same foam, just cut into a short pad with rounded corners). The only minor complaint is that you can't leave the knee pad at home - the mat comes with the knee pad rolled into it, and the carrying strap isn't small enough to carry just the mat without the pad inside. If you roll the mat up loose enough to fit the carrying strap, the mat telescopes out, defeating the purpose. No biggie. Just toss the pad to the side if you don't need it, then roll it back up at the end. There is a smell, like other people said, but it's not strong. It's what you expect with foam products like this, and wiping it down with a sanitizing wipe helps clear it a little. Only other complaint - the mat arrives in a clear plastic sleeve, inside a cardboard shipping box. Somehow the sleeve on mine had dried, dirty water droplets splashed over a big portion of it, despite being sealed inside a taped box. This implies the mats are stored somewhere water or rain can splash on them. Far as I can tell the mat itself was unharmed. Overall, I'd recommend it. The minor complaints are acceptable for a mat this inexpensive and functional.

I only had this yoga mat for 3 months now. I barely use it since it is not ideal for HIIT workouts. To clarify, I do not enjoy this mat that shifts or relocates too often when I am doing more intense workouts that may involve with more motion of pushups combined with thrusting legs or arms in the air briefly between lateral lunges and other workouts that might involves any brief motions of jumps or constant shifting left to right with leg workouts. This particular yoga mat just moves too much, not expecting a mat to non-moving when I do my HIITs but its reposition itself easily unfortunately comparing my other two yoga mats which were more affordable and similar dimensions. And I had sometimes had my shoes slip off too much as well when doing an intense workout! I even had it shifting, repositioning when I did some more difficult pushups but not the basic pushups. I had relocated this mat on two different carpets and it had not improved at all when I was hoping to reduce its shifting. Now the positives are its comfort and durability. I am 5'3 and 130 lbs and this mat is very comfortable, and its durability is there since I had no seen a tear yet after 3 months of some uses. Obviously, this yoga mat is best to use for non HIIT workouts. As it literally states, I think yoga motions is best for this particular mat and some basic workouts that may not involve high intensity interval training workouts. And I know its very comfortable so its best for use of stretch motions I think. To summarize, it's not great for HIIT workouts and it shifts too much on carpet. It is very comfortable though and best for yoga, stretching out and very basic workouts that are not involved with a large range of motion with the legs and arms. And it might be prone to slipping on your shoes yourself unless you have shoes that are anti-slip I think. I do not have workout shoes that are anti-slip so be careful there. Bare feet seem to work well I noticed if I did a HIIT workout but its not ideal to do this for the intense motions.
