An excellent bbq sauce
A friend from Oklahoma recommended this, so, on a whim, I ordered some. Compared to Sweet Baby Rays (which I like), all the differences in this product are improvements. It has a nice smoky taste with more pepper, and while sweet, isn't as cloying as some bbq sauces tend to be. Used it on some smoked ribs, and it made a delicious glaze that wasn't too thick and was delicious the next day.

I lived in Oklahoma for awhile and came to love Head Country BBQ Sauce. This is worth buying. Give it a try.

Best ever BBQ sauce
I first tried this barbecue sauce when visiting relatives in Oklahoma and fell in love with it. I bought several bottles to take home. When I ran out, I couldn’t find it anywhere here in California. My daughter-in-law even shipped me a bottle. I was so happy to find it on Amazon and catch it when it goes our sale. This really is the best barbecue sauce ever. normally I buy sweet baby rays original and I add other ingredients to it to make it just a spicy, flavorful or sweet as I want. It comes out good, but with this one it comes out so much better.. in fact, even before adding my own ingredients to it, it’s perfect. The only disappointment is that I don’t really need to use my own creativity (which I like to do) to get it how I want it because it’s already perfect. I still do add a little this and that though out of habit .

Best EVER!!
As a southerner, I am very particular about my BBQ sauce. I don't know how I ever lived without thisin my life. We have a whole hog roast between Christmas and New Year's, and this was everyone's favorite.
