Take your time prime well
This is great stuff. I have repainted my stock tank pool with it works great. One thing to note is that this is not like regular paint more of a consistency of runny snott. But does a great job water proofing over a primer also the white takes usniversal pigment really well. I added blue to it so i would have a light blue inside to my stock take pool.

QUALITY UNMATCHED
You are not going to believe how I used this product. I build a whole water tank just with the product. No mortar used. Nice and thick but no pasty. Application easy I used ketchup bottles to spread. I used 2 of them on a cabin roof and painted over for water proofing. If you are DIY. You need this. This is my 8 bucket order.

Works for extra protection
Going to give this 4-stars. I'm using it to seal a cave I put in my shower to accommodate a soap insert in the wall. For my purposes it works. This product feels like liquid rubber in the can, but when you apply it, it thins and some of your brush/roller will wipe some of it away. You can probably get a true membrane with a sprayer, but I do not see this thick pasty stuff spraying well. As for brushing and rolling, it will work, but you will need about three coats, with the stroke of each coat 90-degrees to the prior coat, in order to get a truly sealed membrane. I would also not recommend using this as a final coat on an outside wall, as I can see peeling as a potential problem. When it comes to leaky walls, including basement walls, I have always done the following (it's expensive and a lot of work, but the only way to assure the leak stays on the outside): 1. Seal cracks on the outside wall with water plug cement and coat with tar when dry. 2. Seal the cracks on the inside wall with water plug cement. 3. Apply a coat of thinset and screw in cement board over the wall. 4. Fill cracks between cement board sheets with thinset. 5. Apply a coat of thinset to the cement board and finish with ceramic tile. 6. Grout tile. If I were to do it again, then I can see this product being used as extra protection by sealing the wall before step 3 and sealing the cement board before step 5.

This product has done what it says it can do!
I did extensive research on the best product to water proof an interior block wall. Blue Max is amazing. Easy to apply with a small roller and the coverage is very good. I applied two good coats. I did have to open a window for a couple of days to hold the odor down. I painted over it with typical good wall paint and any lingering odor was completely gone. I purchased the Ames peel and stick tape for along the floor and I applied it to the first area...then used the Blue Max Liquid over it. On another side I did not apply the Tape and I have to say the seal was so good I did not need to use the Tape the first time. I finished my job without it...only using the Blue Max.I do not have running water through the wall, just lots of moisture. It is Springtime here in the Pacific NW and there are seeps and springs on the outside of this wall. So I did not finish off this wall for the last two months, in order to see if what I applied would actually work. It Has! The wall and floor are dry. There is no musty smell and the paint has not changed in any way. I am now ready to complete my project and turning this area into good livable dry space.

Multiple Uses, Good At All Of Them.
Haven't used it yet but I've seen it used and man oh man it is great at waterproofing whatever it's painted on. I will use it as a primer for my travel trailer roof reseal job. And look how well it was packaged in shipment.
