What they do is sneak up on the buffalo and point up to the sky and say "hey look, a dead bird" and when the buffalo looks up, whammo, they give him a knock on the head and the buffalo wakes up the next day in a tub of ice and his antlers are gone. At least that is what someone may have told me. No birds were harmed during the drafting of this answer.

Is this back scratcher made in the USA?

Sorry. I checked my back scratcher for some indication of country of origin, but no dice. It came in a box (which I no longer have) and perhaps there is information contained there. I can say, though, that it is one heck of a good back scratcher. It would be hard to find a better one.

How do you file the tip to make it sharper?

A small file is included with the back scratcher that can be used to sharpen or blunt the claws as desired. Personally, I am happy with the feel of the clause as delivered.
