Mysore Sandal Body Wash 200 ml

For lovers of sandalwood your search ends here. It smells wonderful. Just like the sandalwood I grew up with 40 yrs of my life in India. Was hesitant at first to try it out but since I don't like using soap I got it and could not believe the scent. It comes with a little bath pouf if you like those . It's pretty hydrating and the scent stays on your skin for a while. So if you wear perfume like I do you could use it in the night before you go to bed. Your bathroom will smell heavenly! I'm certain many ppl will dislike it immensely cos it's too strong but sandalwood lovers will rejoice!

I have used the Mysor Sandal bar soap for a long time, however, I wanted to try the body wash. It lathers well and smells very good, although there is a bit of a chemical perfume smell that the bar doesn't have. I prefer the bar, but this is a close second. The primary issue is that the body wash has a lot of extra chemicals that irritate sensitive skin, and it inflamed my eczema. The bar soap does not do this. I think for the average person this body wash would be completely fine, however, if you have eczema or sensitive skin I would not recommend this bodywash. Overall I would give 3.5 stars. Alsp, It would be nice if the wash came with a lid that prevented leaking, or allowed measured/controlled use like a squeeze top. The wash is not very thick so you have to be careful to avoid too much coming out. I will prefer this as a bath additive / bubble bath for scent instead of body wash.

First I found this product in Indian grocery store and tried. It is best body wash I used to. Has nurtural oils and smell. Has very nice touch on body. Oils moisture my skin. I couldn’t find anywhere but I am very happy to get more on Amazon!

This is the original Mysore sandal from India with the same intoxicating real sandalwood smell. Took me back to my childhood. Authentic stuff.

I found this soap in India years ago,, and the fragrance was just sublime. I use it in my drawers, as well as bathing. But I hate soap scum so this product was perfect! I LOVE IT!

I'm a huge fan of sandalwood and have used Mysore Sandalwood bar soap from this company many times in the past. I had to quit using the bar soap because of its drying effect on my skin. When I saw this body wash in the same scent, I thought I'd give it a try. I was a little put off by the price, but I reasoned that luxury body washes do sell for that much, so it's reasonable to sell an imported specialty body wash for a similar price. When I received my body wash from Amazon, I eagerly opened the package and used it the next time I showered. The first thing I initially smelled was the sandalwood fragrance that I'm accustomed to. Then it hit me: MOTH BALLS! Intermingled with the beautiful sandalwood scent is the offensive smell of moth balls. I'm not sure why or how, but it's there. I've used the body wash a few times to be sure and every time I smell it. Now, when I'm done showering, the fragrance that lingers on my skin is only that of the familiar sandalwood soap. Unfortunately, I won't be purchasing this body wash again, since I don't like smelling the moth ball scent while I shower.

I enjoy the fragrance and the nice foamy lather. Sandalwood has always been amongst my favorites.

Body wash is really good especially for winter season which makes skin moist. only thing is unlike bath soap this has more chemical composition and smell also little bit lower than the bath soap.

Been using Mysore Sandal soap all my life and I’m 67 years old . But the shower gel is amazing . It makes you feel so fresh, clean and smelling so good. What took you so long to develop this product ?
