If you’ve seen “any” of his films, you know what you’re getting into and “Guns” was no different. While not one of his best, we enjoyed it well enough to keep it in the collection. As a Sidaris film, it feels like it should have been better. Sometimes he tries too hard to make them unnecessarily complicated. But there is a rad ninja sequence in a gym, and he still directs the worst love scenes I’ve ever seen on film.....ever. They’re hilarious! While not as good as Hard Hunted, Seven, Malibu Express, or his Bad Movie Night masterpiece Hard Ticket to Hawaii, it’s an enjoyable mess, if a bit dull at times.
