This safe is nice, sturdy, and strong, especially for the price point. Small and convenient. Was a bit disappointed with the fingerprint reader feature as I was unable to get it to register, but pin combination worked perfectly. I like how they provide 3 ways to access/security (code/key/print). Also, the foamy rack is a bit flimsy and sits too tall, but it's a minor thing and an easy fix. Overall, I find this a good buy!

Well packed, arrived without damage. Three-way lock system (fingerprints, combination, key) works well. Please keep in mind what this product is. It is a gun locker/low security safe, non-fire-rated. At 60lbs, 12x14x60 it is easy to move, and easy to find suitable location in your home. Heavy-duty safes require a team of people or specialize equipment to move around. This product will keep your kids away from your guns, and will deter all but the most determined thieves. All in all, a very good value for the money.

I’ll start with the pros. It’s a nicely sized safe. Can fit long guns shot guns, and has an internal lock box for Ammo or other valuables. The price is nice and the biometric fingerprint reader actually does work. I tested at different times numerously, and different fingers/hands. 19 out of 20 times it worked. The one time it didn’t I wiped some dust and oil off my finger and we were back in business. That’s a big deal to me as I don’t necessarily want to be attached to a key to open my safe. Also tbh it’s the cool factor. The cons are that it doesn’t provide the bolts to mount this to a wall. You can mount it from the top or bottom (which tbh why wouldn’t you? It’s a safe, why would you just leave this in a position to be moved?). But they could’ve given stud bolts instead of making me run to Home Depot. It also loses points for no internal light, but I’d buy it again.

I purchased this safe to be an EMP backup to my more expensive Liberty full size safe. I use this as my go-to safe to get into quickly for predator run-ins on my farm, yet keep my weapons away from the grand-kids. It works excellently. I like the 3 options to open the safe (Key, Pin # or Biometric). It took my prints perfectly. I needed a spare set of keys (yep, I'm a key loser). Quicktec Company responded quickly and with no hassle. (BARSKA raked me over the coals for a new key). The safe is narrow, but that is exactly what I wanted, it fit perfectly in a slim corner of my shoe closet. 4 long guns fit perfectly. I used magnets for a handgun on the inside door. This is not a storage safe- It is a working safe. Locked and loaded.

The safe arrived today and the packaging was in fine contrition, aside from the scuffs and minor scrapes one would expect with something of this size and weight. However, upon opening the box, I immediately noticed that the top hinge was not even seated in the pivot hole. This meant that I had to use considerable effort to get the door open. It was easy enough to fix with an Allen wrench, however I’m still not confident that it wouldn’t come out again with enough force. Trying to set up the biometric scan, the safe did not respond at all as was described in the directions and after six attempts, could still be opened with any finger. I removed the batteries and will just be using the key for the time being. Finally, this thing must be bolted to a wal, because the bottom is not flat and it wobbles considerably and just falls forward with the door open. The only reason I’m keeping it is because I feel like it will take less effort to make it usable now that I’ve got it in the house and opened up than it would to repack it and return it, but I absolutely do not recommend this product.

Update to original review: While I still have trouble unlocking the cabinet, I will say that when I contacted the vendor I got a very quick and very professional response. They were willing to work with me. I have since learned that if I shift the cabinet around (it's not all that heavy) I can get it unlocked. It just takes some adjustment in the position of the cabinet. But adding a couple of stars because the vendor was very responsive and willing to work with me. =========== Not working out well for me. I had a terrible time getting it unlocked. I followed the instructions, and eventually I was able to open it and get the guns in there. However, I went to put something else in it today, and gave up on unlocking it. It just is not very usable with the current locking system on it. IF you needed to get a gun out quickly, forget it - not going to happen.

This safe has been great to hold our guns for home security. It has a few mounting options which we will use to either build it into your wall or just secure it to give it extra stability. We actually lost our keys and customer care was easy to deal with in getting us replacements. I would buy this again for our next remodel we do upstairs in the near future. It is a good size for our needs.

This is my second "safe". I bought one a year ago and since my collection expanded I bought another. They fit 5 rifles with optics BUT it is tight. I have everything from AR 10's with scopes/bipods to target rifles and all fit. But tight. Side to side clearance is important so no offset sights or anything. It comes with some felt lining BUT the packaging foam is great to line the floor and back wall. Not crazy about the foam piece used to align the guns (scopes push the rifles out too far) but you can easily make your own with all the packing foam. Biometrics are okay. My first one programmed easily but I had problems programming this one. Tech support helped quickly clear that up. Also has a PIN and manual key. Note these are not 300lb safes. So any criminal with the right tools can get them open. I consider them sturdy locked gun cabinets. Make sure you secure them to a wall. For what they are quality is good.
