A wonderful tool and versatile. Strong yet lightweight, and it gets the job done

I used this bar when I was moving, and it held an ENTIRE closet's worth of my clothing. I was super impressed! One thing to note: I have an '04 VW Passat, and the ends did not fit over the 'handles' in the backseat (which I think is how it's supposed to go, b/c that's how my bf used it in his Jeep). So, I hung it from the little clothing 'hooks', which worked perfectly, and, IMO, made it stronger! :)

Worked perfectly

This fit both a Grand Cherokee and also a Town and Country minivan. We moved across town and instead of using the wardrobe boxes from our previous move, we moved as many carloads as we could without the movers. This clothes bar is very sturdy -- I was careful not to completely overload it, but it survived having a ton of clothes on it over many back-and-forth trips. I'm happy with this investment and know it will come in handy in the future.

Went on hooks on 3 different vehicles just fine, 2005 Buick Le Sabre, 2014 Mustang, 2013 Hyundai Santa Fe. On some vehicles you may have to fuss with placement on hooks, but after the first time it's easy, once you "get" how to do it. I would rather have a hook designed to stay put instead of one that may go on a bit easier, but falls off if you hit a bump. Also, some bars can fall off if very lightly loaded. Some of my driving it had nothing on it, and it stayed solid. Not hard to pull out to extend. Very strong metal tubing. Nice material on the surface to keep hangers from sliding around. The inner tube that extends has just bare metal, but that's to be expected, and once installed, there won't be much bare metal showing. The plastic hooks also look to be made from strong high quality plastic, don't expect they'll ever break, even if the bar was fully loaded with heavy clothes bags containing heavy winter wear. I expected very good quality, was surprised it exceeded my expectations. Extremely fair price for the quality.
