The Friendly Swede Collapsible Bucket

Not sure how I survived all my years camping without collapsible buckets. This is very well built, the water volume fills out the bucket and and keeps its form which does not change as you lift and carry it around. The cap is useful in keeping debris out of the water if you are keeping it at camp as a water source. I purchased this for a battery pumped propane shower and my only regret is not getting the bigger bucket (I got the 6 gallon). Very happy.

I liked this so much I bought a second one in a larger size. This past weekend I stuck it in my carry-on bag and then used it to stow a bag of ice and a few beverages for a weekend camping trip. It isn't a cooler, but it works well for keeping beverages and such cold with a bag of ice. Next month I am bringing it to Mexico to use to hand-wash clothing during my trip. In the future I plan to use it to wash dishes while camping and the larger one to store water for a camp shower. (It isn't solar, but I think the black color will help it attract heat during the day to be used for a quick rinse-off before bed, and I would probably add a little boiling water.) The top is not completely secure (it stays on but doesn't latch), but it would work well on a boat or the floor of a moving car. You could use it to carry and hold potable water (but it might slosh a little if you're walking). I generally fly to wherever I am camping, and this is so lightweight and packs down really well. It's also really versatile. We'll see how it holds-up over time, but so far, so good!

Looked like it was a very sturdy product, thick, durable, great features but it did not stand up on its own like I needed it too

I bought this bucket for shelling. I love that it is collapsible so I could pack it in my suit case. I was able to carry a ton of shells in it and the outside mesh pocket was ideal for the smaller more fragile shells. I also like that I could easily rinse it out with water to clean all of the sand out of it. So, happy I bought it!

Sooo it seems well made and I have no doubt it will last a long time. The main problem is that after I fill it with hot water, it tips over or starts leaning and unless you’re watching it like a hawk...a hawk that stares at collapsible buckets...it spills out all your hard work. I bought it for my camping shower system and twice (out of maybe 5 showers) it’s collapsed spilling most of my water into the floor of the shower. Maybe it works better with cold water. I didn’t read the instructions.

Its pretty sturdy.Heats water well in the sun.I did bump the side and lost half the water the first time but over all Im happy with it.I like the side pouch.Its nice for storing the soap shampoo and battery for the shower.

This worked very well for my water for a shower while camping. But you have to be careful. Sometimes it wants to collapse and you lose all your water. Just be careful. But overall I'm happy with it.

Great addition to the RV for lots of functions, from gathering water to collecting mussels on the rocks!
