Mason Cash Innovative Kitchen 0.95 Qt Pudding Basin with Sealing Lid

Perfect size for a steamed pudding, and the lip of the bowl hold the string tie in place beautifully. It's a proper little pudding basin. Highly recommend it.

This is a great little bowl and I love the fact that it has a lid. Would buy again if needed. Sturdy and well-made.

Sturdy basin. I had ordered four others that all broke in transit before finding the Mason Cash Pudding Basin, which arrived intact. Worked like a charm to create a sumptuous, firm, and soft Christmas Pudding. It was spectacular.

This is a nice solid bowl I’ve used to make several puddings. I enjoy using it and I think it’s a great size too.

Okay American friends. This is a British dish. I can confirm that it holds one imperial pint (20 oz) or 3.5 cups dry. I used it to make a Christmas pudding and it worked perfectly! Yes it’s on the small side, but it’s supposed to be. My lid was intact and provided a good seal (maybe not 100% airtight but pretty close). I’d recommend this to anyone, but just be aware that you need to convert from metric measurements.

Mason and Cash make great products, this one is for a small pudding… but it works well.

Very small print on the cardboard sleeve on the bowl states one may not use the included lid for baking the pudding, a fact not made clear on the site. In addition, the listing implies that this is a product of the UK, when in actuality it is from China. The bowl itself seems well-made, but the lid being useless for baking made this a fail. Returned.

Smaller than expected. I wanted it to make a family-sized steak suet pudding, but, it won't be big enough.

It holds just under 1 litre. The lid is a nice addition, but not required for my use. It's very good quality. The price seems to change significantly though, so make sure you're not over spending

The plastic sealed lid keeps food fresh and are a great idea but christmas puddings need a foil lid for steaming

Le facteur m’a tendu le colis apparemment intact, l’ayant ouvert, l'emballage était sommaire, un seul morceau de papier ne protégeant rien. L’un des bols s’est avéré cassé et donc j’ai entrepris de le renvoyer et d’en commander un autre en remplacement. Surprise, il est plus cher !

i puchased for making dessert puddings, it was smaller than i expected but was the right size for my recipes. Its good that it comes with a lid, so with the leftovers of my dessert i have a cover. Besides making puddings, it can be used as a mixing or storage bowl & looks quite cute
