I needed a basic strap for a bass I picked up for recording purposes. I’m normally a guitarist, but I’ve finally gotten into recording, so I picked up a cheap Squier bass off of Amazon (see my review of the Squier debut bass). I was looking for functionally over design and found this. I need to state that I am a huge daddario fan and am biased, so I did only look for what they had available. I believe this variety of guitar strap is their basic cheapest model and I am very satisfied with this product! Highly recommend if you’re just looking for a guitar strap with no bells and whistles! Some people complain about the comfort of the material……it’s not made from the finest silks and linens in all the lands….its just a quality strap that does its intended purpose flawlessly! Great value for a basic and secure guitar strap.

In most cases, straps are straps... But NOT so with these... I am a big guy and I was looking for a longer, lighter strap, that wouldn't cut into my neck... I also play in a contemporary christian band, and these worked out great.. My sister got some silver cross's and sew'd them on the straps, and now every one of the guitar players in our band has a matching cross on their guitar strap.. My strap is red with a silver cross, and my guitar is red with chrome trim, my bass player's guitar is black, and his strap is black with the silver cross, it looks good.! The " lead man " is playing a blue Fender, Custom Strat, and she, has a blue strap, with the silver cross, and it really stands out.! We couldn't have done this simple trick to look good, and stand together, as a team, if these straps weren't made of light, durrable material, in many colors.. For us, it was another step in the direction of looking and sounding like a professional team of working musicians..

Pleasantly surprised with the quality and workmanship on a $5.00 guitar strap. I was expecting a lot worse. I have several very nice leather straps but they all have the strap-loc system. I needed a simple strap for three guitars that have strap buttons that cannot be removed or replaced. The Planet Waves simple woven nylon strap works perfectly. The portion that attaches to the strap button is leather and all the adjustment rings are made of smooth, rounded black nylon and quite sturdy, plus they won't scratch your guitar . I'm using this strap on a Turner Renaissance RS-6 and two Yamaha Silent guitars all of which are very light in weight. This strap is probably best suited for acoustic guitars. With solid body electrics, I would think the heavier weight guitars would cause the strap to dig into your shoulder since there is no padding. For my intended use, it's very comfortable, well made, and a real bargain for the price. Couldn't ask for more.

There isn't much to say about these straps that hasn't been said, and all the 5 star reviews can't be wrong.I needed a cheap strap to put on one of my backup guitars and this more than did the trick. In the past I have owned Planet Waves straps, but they have since left with guitars i've sold/traded.It's very comfortable, but doesn't skimp out strength in favor of comfort. This holds up a very heavy mahogany/neck-through guitar and it doesn't dive at all. It does the trick!These may be "throwaway" straps to some, but these certainly hold up and do their job very well, especially considering the price point. And with a multitude of colors available, what's not to like?From the beginner to the master, these will prove to be a great investment for your guitar. They aren't Levy's or Perri's straps, sure, but for the price, can you really beat it? I'd be hard pressed to find a better guitar strap at this price point.
