A Must-Have for Every First Aid Kit: Band-Aid Flexible Rolled Gauze
I've been using Band-Aid brand products for years, and their flexible rolled gauze is no exception. This is a staple in my first aid kit, and it's always there when I need it.The gauze is incredibly soft and gentle on the skin, even when used on sensitive areas. It's also highly absorbent, so it does a great job of soaking up any excess blood or fluid from a wound. The self-adhesive feature is a lifesaver - no more fumbling with tape to secure the gauze in place.I've used this gauze for a variety of injuries, from cuts and scrapes to open wounds. It's versatile, easy to use, and always reliable. If you're looking for a quality gauze dressing, I highly recommend this Band-Aid product.

Pricey, but worth it
Works well. These are made from extremely soft high quality material, which doesn't feel itchy or uncomfortable at all, unlike like many other products of this type. Each roll is individually packaged. The shorter length of these is REALLY nice. For some reason everyone else seems to only churn out gauze rolls that are wayyyyy too long for many (most?) uses.Self-adhesion can be a little iffy, and given how stretchy this stuff is, I found I needed to use more tension than I initially thought I needed to in order to get a secure and adequately firm fit. With regards to fastening the end, while in theory I guess you could tuck it underneath a lower layer to secure it, I just used some medical tape to fasten the end instead. It's considerably more secure & reliable than the other method, and doesn't dig into my skin at all this way.Note that if you do this, the gauze at the end has a tendency to get ruined no matter how slow and careful you are about removing the tape (and that's only applicable if you can even manage to get the tape off at all!), although the gauze that the other end of the tape was fastened to has survived just fine. I ended up wrapping the ruined end under itself the first time I reused one, and then cutting it off entirely after failing to remove the tape following the second reuse. I intend to attempt to try to reuse it probably only one more time before I bin it.I think it should be generally feasible to get at least 1–2 reuses out of these, assuming of course that the gauze remains unsoiled and that there is no direct contact between the gauze and the wound. This makes the high price of these gauze rolls dramatically more palatable.Overall, I am quite pleased with these, and intend to continue using them despite the cost, as they're just so much better that I can't bear the thought of going back to the alternatives again at this point.

Just Gauze, Not Actual Sponges
The media could not be loaded. These are just regular gauze pads and there’s nothing overly absorbent about them. They should not have the word sponge in the name. With that said they are good gauze pads with two 4x4 inch pads in each sealed paper envelope. They don’t stick to the wound even when there’s a good amount of fluid that has dried.

Thick and soft
expensive but worth every penny. so much thicker and softer than other brands. Perfect for cleaning sensitive baby skin and patting dry.

Rolled gauze - perfect for holding bandages in place without irritation.
SOFT and comfortable rolled gauze. The edges are not stiff or rough. Breathes even in a humid heatwave. Paper surgical tape holds it securely. Note - Did NOT use this gauze directly on a wound, so I can't tell you how that would go. Instead, used another bandage on a hand wound and wrapped this gauze around the hand to hold the actual bandage in place. Works perfectly for that purpose.

Soft, Absorbent, and Secure—A First Aid Essential for Comprehensive Wound Care
The Band-Aid Brand Flexible Rolled Gauze Dressing is a fantastic addition to any first aid kit, providing versatile and effective wound care. This value pack, with five rolls each measuring 3 inches by 2.1 yards, ensures you have ample gauze on hand to manage multiple injuries. The gauze is soft and gentle on the skin, making it ideal for covering and protecting minor wounds, cuts, or abrasions. One of the key features that sets this gauze apart is its flexibility. It conforms easily to different body parts, allowing for a snug, secure fit that stays in place, even on areas that move a lot, like joints. The gauze provides soft padding, offering comfort while also absorbing any wound exudate quickly, which helps keep the area clean and promotes healing. The rolls are easy to handle and cut to the desired length, making them convenient for use in various situations. Whether you’re bandaging a hand, arm, or leg, this gauze works well in combination with medical tape to secure dressings and provide added protection.A minor improvement could be the inclusion of individual sterile wrapping for each roll, but as long as the rolls are stored properly, this shouldn’t be a major concern. And for a touch of humor: Why did the gauze roll break up with the scissors? Because it couldn’t handle the cuts anymore!Overall, the Band-Aid Brand Flexible Rolled Gauze Dressing is a must-have for anyone looking to maintain a well-stocked first aid kit. It offers excellent absorption, comfort, and flexibility, making it perfect for handling a variety of minor wounds with care and ease.
