We did a lot of research - actually a ridiculous amount - to identify the safest, purest, and least likely to cause unwanted side effects. We also asked several doctors about various brands. Designs for Health was consistently mentioned as being the most effective with extremely high quality control. This is particularly important for SAMe because the compounds apparently breakdown quite easily if not manufactured or packaged properly. Our son has been on this for almost 2yrs and it has worked very well.

These are amazing pills. If you're at all concerned with proper methylation of hormones in your body THESE are a must have. I started taking these under the advice of a physician. They are an extremely valuable component in the successful balancing of hormone levels in women. I've had cancer twice.. I'm estrogen dominant, so preventing the mess that comes with a hormone balancing act in a body that it prone to cause problems these pills can make all the difference. If you are taking hormones please consult your doctor before taking these. I realize they're over the counter, but do not let that fool you. Some of these nutraceuticals are extremely serious business. But if you've been struggling with unsuccessful in getting your body to respond correctly, these just might make all the difference.

This supplement has been awesome for my son who has depression/anxiety. It has taken alot of the symptoms away and has also given him energy!!! He also eats healthy and exercises daily so make sure you do this as well because it is very important.

My naturopath recommended this product to help my body break down stress hormones during my sleep. Before taking this supplement my bladder would wake me up and I would have a very difficult time going back to sleep. The very first time I took one SAMe before bed, i experienced the best sleep i had had in a very long time. The best part was i had more energy the next day. This product has made more of an improvement with my quality of sleep and energy level during the day than any other supplement. My naturopath determined i had a need for SAMe from the results of DNA testing he had me do.

I love this Brand. Their products are exactly as described. This product is Non-GMO, Gluten-Free, and Vegetarian-friendly. Their products do exactly what they are suppose to do. The only thing I don't like about them is they are so expensive. I tried another brand (NOW) but it was not as good at all. It was so bad that I re-ordered this one even though it is expensive. This one really works!

My Naturopath "prescribed" this brand of Sam-e because I was low in a few neurotransmitters which affected my mental health. Sam-e has definitely helped improve my depression (along with other things).
