Been collecting flexcut carving tools for years and I thought it was time to have a better storage solution than them sitting in their plastic packaging. I picked this because I can roll it out and clearly see each tool and grab what I need. It fits my needs well. I am not going to say it's super heavy duty, but I think it's more than well made enough. I have a smaller roll just like it for another set, so I knew what I was getting. And it's big enough to hold all the gouges I currently have. I just need to get some more to fill in those unsightly empty pockets. I am sure the wife will agree. I only wish you could store more than one handle. As you see, you kind of can, not perfect, but it works. One thing to remember with this, the pockets are close together, which is good for getting more in the space, but you need to be extra careful taking the gouges in and out. I love that flexcut tools are so sharp, so it can be easy to ding yourself up with this roll. Not knocking the product, just a heads up. More than happy with this tool, the price is good, would recommend.

Convenient tool roll for the price. Made of a vinyl material that holds tools nicely. Note** Majority of the 1 star reviews are people who failed to read that the tool is *ONLY* compatible with Flexcut SK series interchangeable gouges. This WILL NOT fit regular handle knives and gouges.

This item is made of cheap vinyl that is so weak the stitches pop as flexcut tools are inserted into the slots. the slots are too tight/narrow to hold the tools. Also, space allowed for the tools is inadequate, as palm grip tools are too wide and regular handle flexcut tools jut out of the top. This might be the worst item I've ever purchased on Amazon in nearly 2 decades of being a customer. Would give zero stars if it were possible.

I bought this roll to use with a flexcut set of 16 removable gouges with handles. The set came in a bulky box which was pretty useless. This roll fits nicely in my carving bag for easy transport to carving club or to our cottage. I had two extra pockets, but bought an extra handle and was able to easily remove the pocket separator and create a larger pocket for the 2nd handle (there was already a larger pocket for one handle). The knives do not cut through the roll and are covered by a flap so they do not bang against each other.

This tool roll feels a bit on the cheap side, but at least I have something to store my blades in. Eventually, I’ll make one out of leather.

Another well crafted tool from Flexcut. It rolls up and tucks away with your tools of choice inside. It doesn't take up any room and the pockets are perfect. I bring to my wood workers class and it's a great addition to my tool box. I give it a Definite Buy with a 5 Star Rating!!! Enjoy...

Good product. My only issue would be it ties with a shoe lace type tie ... so I am concerned about the long term durability of the tie. Otherwise, nice product.
