Internal dimensions of inner cover

I found all the dimensions are near perfect for my commode (Cotto commode for which I could not find the Cotto cover available in my local market nor on Amazon). So I opted for Kohler which is a near match. The only problem I faced was with the fitting the Kohler seat onto the Cotto Commode. The Cotto cover had metal parts / screws whereas the Kohler seat has plastic / PVC type material. Otherwise all fine for me.

Can this be installed by our own without calling a professional if we have a screw driver?

You can install it very easily by your own. There is a instruction manual present which can be used to install.
