Speakman S-2005-H-E2 Hotel Anystream Shower Head for Stylish Bathroom Décor, 2.0 GPM, Chrome

As a woman with long, thick hair, I need a forceful showerhead to make sure all the shampoo is washed away so my scalp doesn't get itchy. I have been limping along on something I got at Costco, and recently got so fed up with it that I went out and bought a pricey showerhead that provided even less pressure. So I returned that and came to Amazon to see what was highly rated here, and this Speakman S-2005-H was at the top. We installed it today and WOW! This is amazing! We haven't adjusted the water pressure in any way (wouldn't even know how to do that) and I got the best shower I have ever had at home. The installation was a breeze and the amount of forcefulness, which is adjusted by a turnkey on the side, ranged from very nice to superb. I took a much shorter shower than usual because I got my hair clean so quickly. This is going to save me time and money and water. If you're on the fence at all about this, hop off and join the rest of us happy customers. Please note that I only rated this on two of the three features, "easy to install" and "value for money," but I was not able to rate it on "easy to remove" because I plan to never remove it (however, if you do, it would be as easy to twist off as it was to twist on, so that should be five stars anyway).

I ordered this showerhead to replace an older showerhead in my master bathroom, and this is a perfect replacement. The finished is a mirror-like polished chrome and unlike so many other adjustable showerheads, this one adjusts with a easy-to-use knob on the side. I really disliked the adjustable heads that required the face of the head to be rotated, and the Speakman allows me to find the perfect spray easily. The rear of the showerhead does pivot, so the whole head can be perfectly aimed after installation. Water flow maxes out at 2.5 gallons/minute, the maximum allowable these days. Unlike others, I have not removed the flow adjuster because the 2.5 gallons flow rate is more than satisfactory. INSTALLATION--Installation could not have been any easier. It literally took me less than a minute to use a wrench to take off the old showerhead, wrap the (included) Teflon tape around the threads, and screw the new Speakman head onto the shower pipe. It was so easy, I wondered why I had been putting up with the older showerhead for so long. SIZE--For comparison, I checked the showerhead against some common items. It is about an inch taller than a common soup can, and the diameter is exactly the same as a regular can of tuna. In fact, you can even nest the showerhead on top of a can of tuna, so I know it's exactly the same size. If you're wondering whether this will fit into your shower stall, just take a can of soup and a can of tuna, and you'll have some idea of where the showerhead height will be if you choose to install it. ADJUSTABILITY--This is advertised as "infinitely adjustable" which means you can choose how the water flows out the jets, mixing the various jets. In actual practice, I suspect most people will pick one setting and just leave it there, but it's nice to know that I could adjust it easily if I wanted to. As noted earlier, the knob adjustment is a superior method of fixing the stream. This is one the best products I've gotten from Amazon and on top of that, it was considerably cheaper on Amazon than at my local box hardware store.

Great shower head with nice adjustable spray pattern except for two things. 1. Disappointingly, much of the head is made of plastic. Remember those old Speakman solid brass, chrome plated shower heads? Well unless you’re planning spend hundreds of dollars, that’s not the world we live in anymore. Still a nice finish and maybe in your lifetime you’ll never notice a difference but… 2. Flow rates are still slow even at max (2.5 gpm) option. I can’t even image what 1.5 gpm would be like. I am looking at options for increasing flow without going with fully unrestricted flow.

Fantastic shower head!! Great water pressure and such a quality product!! So affordable too! Plan on ordering another one for the guest bathroom!! Highly recommend!!🙂

It is the best shower-head I've ever purchased.The water volume is awesome it fills the shower inclosure in minutes with a very strong stream. It has a very modern clean look with an easy to use control knob.

This shower head was exactly what i was hoping for. The one setting, its like standing under a waterfall. Gets all the soap out of my hair instantly!!! The other setting is a high pressure blast. I have low water pressure, and this setting works well. Almost good enough to massage with, but like i said, I have low water pressure, and you can only get so much out of it. This fixed that as well as i could hope for. Plus, it angles more than my last one, but that isnt a big deal. If you want a shower head that takes a glass of water that is standing still, and turns it in to a stream of water that can cut through steel, you will never find it. If you want a shower head that does well turning low pressure water, into a high pressure shower, this one works well. It does for me anyways...

Love the spray feature, with easy to turn with knob to switch between different settings. Only concern is the material is made of plastic with chrome finish and will probably fade or stain over time. Quality is reasonable at this price range. Go for brass model if want peace of mind for longetivity. Otherwise this is a good product.

Hands down the best shower head I’ve ever had. Very, very strong water pressure! Easy to install. Comes with a small about of tape.

If you like a good shower, one that’s refreshing and powerful, then Speakman is the only brand to consider. Have bought like 4 for family already.

Packaged well, easy installation, and includes complementary plumbers tape! Good weight, well built and performs great. Full range spray with great flow. Attractive modern, clean style. The best shower head I’ve ever owned. A new fan of the Speakman brand!
