VViViD Clear Self-Adhesive Lamination Vinyl Roll for Die-Cutters and Vinyl Plotters (12" x 6ft)

This is a high-quality product. It's noticeably better than other laminates. Glassier. Easier to use. Less bubbling. I buy a lot for business, and this works better than any other products. I've compared it to many! Including 3M Scotchcal 8518 and Avery Dennison. I highly recommend this clear laminate! The roll size is ideal. I cut what I need and no waste. This sticks perfectly, yet adjustable if needed without destroying. A+

Back in college, my roommate tore down the shower curtain in a drunken, philosophical rage about “authority” and “curtains being a lie.” What remained was a mold-friendly bathroom and a problem that needed solving immediately. Enter this VViViD clear self-adhesive lamination vinyl. Armed with this roll, some shoelaces, and the survival instinct of someone who absolutely needed a shower, we rigged up a temporary curtain situation. And you know what? It worked. Perfectly. Crystal clear, water stayed in the tub, no new mold colonies formed, and dignity was… mostly preserved. Fast forward to real life: this vinyl is fantastic. It’s genuinely clear, sticks well, cuts clean, and does exactly what it claims. Great for die-cutters, laminating projects, protecting surfaces — or, in a pinch, saving a bathroom from biological warfare. If you need something transparent, versatile, and unexpectedly heroic, this roll has your back. After much fiddling, I have finally found the right settings to kiss-cut printed stickers laminated with this vinyl, then cut them out of the sticker paper completely, all in one step. First, I created my stickers in Design Space ("Kiss Cut Stickers" in the screenshot), then added the cut for the outside of the sticker sheet lined up 3 times. Attach everything and print if necessary. Then, I created a custom material in Cricut Design Space. I set the pressure to 175 for 2 passes. Your machine will "cut" the stickers out twice and the outer edge of the sheet 6 times. This worked perfectly for me :) This vinyl is thick and glossy. It makes really nice stickers and has an incredible price point. These settings work for me, but your Cricut or sticker paper may be slightly different, but hopefully this little tutorial-in-a-review will give you a good starting point! The picture is from my tests so it doesn't look like my final stickers, but hopefully this shows how glossy the vinyl is :)

I ordered this laminate for vinyl stickers that I cut using a silhouette cameo 4. While the laminate itself works well, it's just extremely thick for my application. The laminate itself is 3mm thick, so when used with a sticker sheet, it makes the whole sheet around 4mm thick. If you have a die-cutting machine and blade that can handle this thickness, it would be an awesome laminate, but unfortunately my machine won't cut all the way through this stuff. (My bad, I should've read the listing more carefully) When used on small stickers, the thickness can make it tricky for the sticker to adhier on a curved surface. Applying the laminate is easy and straightforward, when done properly very minimal bubbles appear. I recommend starting at a corner and use a squeegee type blade to press down the laminate as you remove the backing. Ensure your blade doesn't scratch the laminate by putting down paper or covering the blade in a soft/smooth material.

Purchase this vinyl due to its UV protection claim. Used it to protect color on stickers meant to be used on vehicles. About 3-4 weeks after application, all the stickers have faded horribly and all have started curling around the edges, which is causing them to lift and peel. I know it’s the clear vinyl and not the sticker vinyl because stickers on just the sticker vinyl have not curled or lifted. I made stickers for my husband who is a firefighter and for various crews and a couple of sup vehicles. So embarrassing to have them fail like this. The black has faded to a greenish grey, and just horrible to look at. The vehicles stored indoors got about an extra week out of stickers before they began to curl. Works ok for laptop stickers and so far has been fine for water bottle stickers, but not good for car or outdoor stickers.

I used this to cover decals to help project them. So far it has held up staying in the sun for 6 months. Zero texture and super easy to install. Very sticky and stays down. Looks great!

Too bad product. The lamination comes out after cutting.

Easy to use, does what it says on the tin, works well with my vinyl cutter, just have to experiment with the settings, makes good laminated stickers. Expensive due to the postage , as its dispatched from the USA, which there is no mention of this in the listing, as there is a UK address, very misleading, but saying that , once it was dispatched, it took about 10 days to arrive. I'm going to search for a UK supplier in future Edit: Just noticed that the item I purchased, was from another seller ( GEAC LTD), who it seems no longer has this item listed, sorry to the above seller if this reflects on them

I haven’t had this long enough to test the UV effectiveness but having used and applied it twice now, the quality itself does feel good. My main issue is that a sticker is used to keep the roll together which is difficult to remove and ends up damaging the first part of the roll, meaning wastage straight off the bat. You can also see the indent of where it was and it’s impossible to hide. It’s so frustrating when manufacturers do this, it’s the same with wrapping paper too. It’s also a very short roll for the money and imo is very expensive.
