No weird sawed off base. Looks very organic
Good size pieces, compliments the aquascape really well. I’m placing another order, hopefully I get nice pieces again. For reference, I boiled my pieces for about 15 mins and let it cool off in the water before I placed it in my tank.

Great buy
Boiled a few time no more water color change. Made well, fit great, designs are nice, no smell. Durable, and stores great.

Very pleased
These are very nice pieces. They were well packaged and quick to ship.I did boil them to get some tannins out and also make sure they would not float.I then put them together as I wanted and added plants .They have been in my tank for a few days with no issues and no noticeable tannins .

Really great driftwood for the price, but get sandpaper
I normally go to my local reptile rescue for driftwood because they have really great prices, but it’s quite a drive and my work schedule has been pretty crazy, so I ordered this. I got 3 pieces with varying sizes from about 8-14”. So, the seller’s promises are true. The only reason I’m not leaving 5 stars is because I got this for a spadefoot toad enclosure, so I had to sand off a LOT of sharp edges on the knots in the wood. So, if you’re getting this for any kind of soft-skinned amphibian like a frog/toad/salamander or an aquarium, make sure to pick up some sandpaper—I was able to fix the sharp edges in about 2 minutes with 180 grit sandpaper that I had leftover from another project. Otherwise, I’d say this is a great value, and I was really impressed with how much driftwood I got for the price.

Mixed review
I decided to write a review after 1 year use. So after first receiving the pieces of wood I boiled them as per other reviews and place it in my tank and it immediately became slimy and turn the water brown. I then took it out of the tank and boiled it several more times and soaked it for weeks each changing the water every few days. Finally, I placed it in my tank and still after one year it still slightly tinges the water brown even though I do it a weekly 20% water change. I don't think I would necessarily recommend this for a fish tank however the wood is really pretty in the tank.

Perfect!
These pieces are perfect. Seller sent a nice variety for the 3 pieces. The sharp ends were already removed. They look great and my shrimp live climbing on them.UPDATE: I ordered from this same seller again for my new 20G long tank. They went above and beyond! The pieces arrived VERY quickly. They look great and they gave me extra pieces! Highly recommend them.

Beautiful!
This is exactly what I was looking for in my natural tank. Of course they turn the water yellowish even after boiling them and soaking them for a couple of hours (or days in my case) but it’s absolutely not harmful for the fish so I wasn’t worried about that. I did have to sand down a few of the limbs since my fish have longer fins. The biofilm was not overwhelming and was actually not stuck to the wood like some of the other wood I’ve purchased from pet stores. I am overall very pleased with the shape and look of this driftwood! My shrimp and fish approve!

YOU MUST BOIL
Even in the description it tells you to boil them. These have to be treated before you put them in or they will get a white algae that you don't want. Clean them all you want but you have to boil them to get rid of external bacteria. Just rinsing isn't good enough. With any dead wood or leaves you have to boil it. They are smaller then I imagined but I was thinking it was so cheap! So I think you're getting what you pay for! Overall I'm extremely happy :)
