Accusize Industrial Tools 5/8'' by Jt3 Drill Chucks, Key Type, 0222-0705

The chuck on my 35 year old floor drill press was no longer working well, sloppy and the key mostly didn't fit anymore. This chuck looked well made and a great value. It has met all of my requirements: very well made with excellent tolerances, no wobble, smooth operation and a high quality key. I have since sold the drill press and the buyer was convinced by the new chuck to complete the purchase. Clearly added value to an old machine.

Recently picked up a mid-range drill press second hand. The original chuck had been (badly) abused and was just shot. I pressed one of these on and checked it out. Grip was great, both on the taper and in the jaws. Runout (measured about 4" down a 3/8" steel pin) was under 0.005". Very satisfied with that -- don't have any way of knowing if they are all that good. The chuck key fits nicely and has a thick green plastic coating. No complaints so far!

Bought this to replace wobbly chuck on a new drill press I recently purchased. Out of the box the CanCNC chuck performs with no visible runout. Impressed with the quality for the price.

Basic economy chuck made in the 3rd world. Smooth action. Grips well. I measured 0.005" runout. Key has way too much rubbery goop on it. I pulled it off.

Very heavy duty 3/4 inch chuck. Works much better than the cheap 1/2 inch chuck that came with the lathe.

I replaced the standard Jacobs 3/8" chuck on a moderately old Craftsman bench drill press in order to accept larger diameter bits and end-mills. This chuck seems solid and well made from the exterior, I did not open it to view the interior machining. Total radial runout, measured against the body below the key holes (not on a bit shank) was .0025", probably not the best for fine work but still in an acceptable range for a small press. The sleeve turns nicely tightly, and the jaws close very well. The JT33 taper fit on the press quill precisely with no difficulty. For the price this seems a good buy.

Went bad in 2 months would not stay tight when in use.pruduct appears solid but trust me it isnt

Replaced a POC Chuck about 40 years old. This runs true (about .0015 run out) and smooth. Key is just a little rough but nonissue for me

Arrived one day ahead of schedule. Runout tested with a dial gauge. 0.001inches. (O.0254mm). That is good enough for me.

Good finish, fits well on a Ryobi table top drill press purchased from home Depot. Measuring about 3 thou runout.

I like the drill chuck seems to be of good quality. I use it in my drill press . I'm happy with It. I really don't like junk thanks.

Replaced the chuck on my Rockwell drillpress, this chuck fit the taper well and has very low runout. Prompt shipping and delivery!
