Rapala Rattlin 05 Fishing Lures

This lure knows no bounds. I have caught bream, crappie, large and smallmouth bass, and channel catfish with this lure. My daughter (13 years old) didn’t tie the lure on her line well and lost this bait. Luckily I was right there with her and remembered exactly where she lost it. I waited a few weeks for the lake level to go down. Went back to where she lost it and found it. I just knew it would be rusted, but to my surprise it still looked brand new after I cleaned it off with just my hand and the lake water. I recommend this lure for all anglers.

Honestly I was expecting much better action on this lure but it seems to just sort of plow through THG water and not do much.Maybe I’m fishing it wrong??

Quality made. Good size for river fishing on medium to light tackle.

Caught 2 largemouth about 30 minutes after it arrived at my front door. Went down the street to the creek in our park. Amazing. They weren't river monsters but it proved how well this lure works!

Caught a 19inch Bass with this bad boy!

Used this lure casting from a dock into a lake that has been stocked once this year. Just from looking at it it looks cheaply made. Used it 2 consecutive days in the morning and evening when the bass were hungriest. I caught nothing not even a bite. My husband was using nightcrawler and was pulling in some big large mouth bass. One if had been legal to keep was worth having mounted. That's all he used and was bringing in fish after fish. I was really disappointed, enough so that I through it away. Might be worthwhile if used trolling.

One of my all time favorites! First of all, let me be clear: It's a rapala... OF COURSE it catches fish! I can honestly say that I've never used a rapala lure that DIDN'T catch a fish. But the RNR-5 in the shad pattern is one of the very first lures I learned how to fish as a kid. I've caught all kinds on it over the years and have replaced it time and time again. This is one of the best lipless crankbaits on the market at one of the best prices around. Cheap and effective. Fish it on a straight retrieve (simply throw it out and reel it in) Or you can yo-yo it (lift and drop) when that big fish grabs it, set the hook and hang on!

I haven't used it much since I've only just got it and have used it only once. No bites, but the action is nice so far. Will update as I get the chance to use it more.

Despite Amazon delivering this to the wrong house on the wrong street.Have seen many a review of these lures and they seem to all say that you should have them in your tackle box. Looking forward to using them sometime this year

Use this to catch Striped bass off the beachat my cottage on the east coast of Canada, worked like a charm. Second cast hooked a nice one.
