Adds humidity and easy to use
This is a great humidifier. Works well in our master bedroom. It has improved the dryness. It is very easy to fill up. It is also great as 'white noise'. I had purchased a different model but returned it for this one. I highly recommend!

No white dust! Breathing better.
Easy to use, low speed is barely audible. Even medium speed is pretty quiet. Seems well made. I bought some replacement filters so I'll have them on hand. It's not "automatic" meaning no humidity sensor, but it's not really needed. I bought a Antonki 2 Pack Room Thermometer-Hygrometer Indoor Humidity Meter. They work great and are pretty accurate. I'm also using a two part additive to the water, bacteriast & demineralizer. I bought that at Lowe's for about $11.00, a LOT cheaper than anything on AZ. I'll post some pictures and review in a few weeks. A few more notes, I have a few air purifiers and the filters didn't seem to last long, maybe they were removing the white dust my former ultrasonic humidifiers (that went to the ewaste recycle) even though they had demineralizer filters. Ok, you read this far, one IMHO ultrasonic humidifiers fault is the humidity sensor is in the same unit as the humidifier, so sure it thinks there is plenty of moisture. Placing the separate humidity sensor away from them gives a better idea of actual value. :-) Update: week 2. Using the water treatment mentioned above and I clean them every week and have found no mold or anything else growing. Actually, other than the filters having some mineral buildup, they are pretty clean. I soaked the filters in white vinegar/water for about 30 minutes and it removes most of the buildup. Hope this helps...

Easy to fill and clean. Good for small room.
Works well in a small bedroom. Noise lever on low is acceptable for sleeping. Like the evaporator type since it doesn't spew chemicals into the air. Using it with tap water and haven't had any mineral depost build up yet. Seems well made. Easy to fill and clean.

Life changer in dry climate
Easy to assemble. Works well. It raised the humidity in my apartment from 22 to 31 in a short time. I’ve been able to maintain 31 to 32 levels on the medium setting. The unit is probably smaller than would have been optimal for my apartment, but my considerations were space, weight, and how easy it would be to refill it. It fits nicely on a small counter and I’m able to carry the water bucket to and from the sink. The only downsides are that it is not a top fill, and I will need to change filters periodically.

Easy to maintain and keeps humidity at comfortable levels
We bought this product to support our whole house humidifier in the coldest, driest weather. We are using it in the master bedroom (approx. 12 x 20 with a vaulted ceiling). On the medium setting, it raises the humidity about 10% and runs about 20 hours before needing a refill (we use reverse osmosis water). The unit is easy to set up, refill, and clean (top rack dishwasher safe) and is no louder than a small fan. Occasionally there is a slight gurgling sound as the water level drops, but it's certainly not annoying. I'm a light sleeper and really don't notice anything. We have all noticed the improvement in our skin and noses, plus our cats are happy to be rid of all the static. We are very pleased with our purchase and highly recommend this product.

After four different humidifiers, THIS is the one I recommend without hesitation
This is an excellent machine. Easy to put together, easy to use - holds a large amount of water so it doesn't have to be filled every evening. Works for our large master bedroom and has significantly cut down on the coughing (our floor heaters really dry out the room in the winter.) The filters and UV protection are great - filters are easy to change (although we haven't had to do that yet). I would absolutely buy this again - no white dust residue!

Weak performance in cold climates
This unit was unable to increase the humidity in a small bedroom (~200sqft) beyond 25% RH. The humidity in the room is normally around 20% RH depending on furnace use. I did try a few methods to troubleshoot the unit. - Soaked the wick in room temperature water instead of cool water (our cold water can be as low as 50F in winter). - Filled the tank with room temperature water. - Made sure to run the unit for a week continuously on high (except when moving to different areas of the room or during refills). - Placed the unit on a hard surface instead of carpet (in case air intake was blocked). - Tried moving the unit around the room. - Checked %RH near the unit and at the head of the bed using an uncalibrated hygrometer and a calibrated Fluke temperature/humidity meter. (%RH was slightly higher adjacent to the unit by 2-3%). - Checked moist air being vented at the top of the unit with a calibrated Fluke temp/humidity meter and was unable to read beyond 40% RH (description implies that this model can perform well above that). Didn't receive any additional guidance from Kaz, and Amazon won't accept returns for this model which is frustrating (although I did e-mail them about this). It's possible that the unit is not capable of operating in areas with more extreme winter conditions (it's been below 0F outside for a little over a week). My other complaints are that the humidifier significantly cools the space where it is located. The bedroom is normally around 70F, and the temperature would drop to ~65F while the humidifier was running. The temperature of the air leaving the humidifier was measured to be as low as 59F. The housing of the humidifier doesn't latch to the base, so be careful while moving it (hold it by the bottom of the unit or it will just come apart). The tank leaks around the lid. There is a flat spot on the cap threading where it can leak. There is no auto-shutoff if the tank runs out. The fan will continue to spin and dry out the wick, requiring the user to re-soak it. Otherwise to be objective, here are some positives. The filter appears to do a good job of filtering out mineral deposits in the water. Our water is pretty good, and low on minerals or other salts, so I wouldn't expect any issues replacing the filter every 60 days or so. People with hard water will likely need to swap it out sooner. I would recommend checking or requesting a water report if there's concern. If the supplied water is very hard it might become prohibitively expensive to replace the filter every 20-30 days. Cleaning the tank and base were both easy. Cleaning the upper housing assembly seems like it would be difficult (no way to access the fan). It's very quiet on the low setting. High setting is audible, but wasn't any worse than bedside fan.

I bought this humidifier over 5 years ago and it is going strong. Just take care to clean it about once a week with vinegar and rinse and flip the filter daily (and replace it when it gets crusty - but it lasts a long time before that happens) and it will work very well. I keep it running close to 24 hours a day, often on high, but switch to medium or low for very quiet operation. It is apparently rated for use in a room up to 400 square feet, but it does a great job in my 700 square foot apartment, all throughout the very dry Ontario winters. It raises the humidity from 20-25% to 35-45% which makes a significant difference. Helps alleviate dry skin, eyes and nose. I keep it on a little rolling metal cart from IKEA, which makes it very easy to move around. Very highly recommended!

Honeywell warranty not available in India on humidfier. The seller is a real fraud, i dont think the items imported are used ones... The humidifer stoped working within 5-6 nights only... seller took it from me for refund, its been more than 20 days and no call/reund from seller... its really disheartening, after buying the premium product i have to face such an experience.... The seller is a real fraud... pls dont buy... its a clear recommnedation from my experience. Otherwise, be ready for such an experience. Choice is yours because the money is yours.. Anyways the filter turned yellow within 2 days of use (that too after i used only mineral water).

This is a fantastic humidifier. It is very easy to clean as long as you use common sense and check it every couple of weeks. The wick does require descaling if you want to use it for more than two weeks and any kind of descaling agent will do. I generally replace my wicks after 4 weeks of use. If you have hard water, you might have to do it more often, just be prepared. Noise is minimal as it is simply a fan running it, and I find on the medium setting I am getting good humidification without too much noise. Because it is an evaporation humidifier, there is no white dust settling from its use. Absolutely no issues with mould forming, most likely because I leave it running all the time and there is no standing water.

This review is based on use over a full winter season of this version of the HCM350 with the internal UV light that is supposed to kill 99% of bacteria, mold, etc. The humidifier was used in a ~130 square foot bedroom during the winter with forced air heating. It was able to effectively raise relative humidity from 20-25% to 40-50%, depending on the speed setting used. We typically had it on the lowest setting for gentle white noise at night; humidity levels averaged in the high thirties to low forties. We live in a hard water area and initially contemplated using distilled water, but at a cost of about $1/gallon and the use of about one gallon per night for the bedroom would quickly exceed the cost of a couple filters. We used tap water and the filter eventually developed a light brown, crusty appearance along its edges, even when flipped daily with each reservoir refilling. This was due to iron and hard water, not due to mould. To prolong filter life, we used two filters during the season on a rotating basis. One in use while the other soaked in a strong white vinegar & water solution until needed. The vinegar solution was effective at removing the hard deposits, but was never able to quite restore the filter to 'like new' appearance (we didn’t try bleach, which might also be effective for those complaining of mould). But this pretty much maintained effectiveness. IIRC, we rotated the filters probably every couple weeks. Eventually the filters lost some structure and were replaced for this winter, but two for a full winter season seemed fairly reasonable. The humidifier was used every night and rarely sat idle longer than 12 hours, therefore can't comment on how the filter would handle being left in a wet but unused state for prolonged periods, which probably isn't ideal. We felt the lack of auto shutoff was not a major problem because it’s effectively just a fan inside an enclosure (though there’s also the UV light, which apparently has a finite lifespan). We did not have any problems with the glued seams of the replacement filters breaking, though we were careful not to put much stress on this area when in the vinegar soak, or while handling during the rinse process. That said, compared to the original filter included with the humidifier, these seemed to be slightly thinner walled. Overall, it works for us and we continue to use it this winter season.

Pretty simple design and construction, which is good (the less complex, the easier it should be to maintain). Water tank has a wide mouth and is easy to refill. Most hands won't fit through the mouth to scrubs the inside of the tank, but you can quickly disinfect it with a diluted bleach solution with no scrubbing. UV light is an interesting feature - I'll wait to see how effective it is in the long-run by observing if the plastic exposed to the UV light discolours over time. I live in an area with really hard water so the filter was quick to discolour, but I try to briefly rinse it out between tank refills to help with it. I live in a condo that's just under 600 sq. ft. I bought one unit hoping it'd be enough, and it helped raise my condo's humidity level from 39% to 45%, but it's not steady and will drop from time to time, meaning one of these units isn't enough to keep my condo at a good humidity level. So I'm now buying a second one! Cold Canadian fall and winter seasons really take a toll. I really like that the unit is stylish (compared to other humidifiers out there). It's pretty quiet - my current unit is sitting on my nightstand next to my bed and I can keep the fan on the medium setting with no issue. It is audible on the high setting so I'd avoid that when trying to sleep. The one feature I wish this unit had was auto-shutoff when the tank is empty so that I don't need to worry about it, but I tested running the unit on high for 8 hours straight and there was still ~1/6th of the tank left, so it should be fine to leave on while you're at work if you're out of the home for 9-10 hours. 20/10/2018 UPDATE: my one unit is starting to struggle now as the weather gets colder and drier. Even on the high fan setting, it's not able to raise the humidity past 37%. So one unit won't be very effective in a 600 sq. ft. space. Very much hoping the 2nd unit will get the humidity up when it arrives. 02/11/2018 UPDATE: with 2 of these units running for a week now (with one always on high and one always on medium), I've been able to maintain 41-44% humidity in my condo. Kind of disappointing to be honest, and I'm worried when the real winter hits in a couple months, these units will be very ineffective. One trick I did pick up to help with reducing the amount of mineral build up and hardness on the filters is to flip the filters to the other side once a day. Since I started doing this, I've noticed the mineral discolouration (from build up) on the filters are noticeably less, and the filters don't feel as hard.
