This is working fine; got me out of a bind when my DS918 power supply failed.

Nothing is worst than having your NAS die due to a faulty power adapter. I have a 4-bay Synology for several years now, and it is solid hardware. The first time the factory power adapter failed, it just shut down and didn't start, thus it was easy to diagnose. I got the power adapter replaced and it worked fine again. But recently the DSM tells me there's degradation on one of the disks (I only use NAS-rated hard drives). Then a second disk started reporting problems. I didn't realize it was the adapter that was starting to fail. I replaced the hard drives (at a huge expense, let me add), but the problem persisted. So I ordered two of these adapters, because I cannot afford down time. They last long and they aren't expensive considering their importance. After replacing the faulty adapter everything has been working well. Any future glitches, and I will just swap the power adapter with the spare I have sitting there waiting to save the day. It's been working great so far.

It lasted only 2 years and failed. Almost costed me my whole NAS. Not trustworthy at all! Strongly recommend against it!!!

It works but beware it will fail within a year or 2, this was my second unit. Guess I will have to find another brand or oem.

While performing a large upload of media files to my Plex running on a DS920+, file transfer stopped overnight (it was around 400GB). I was unable to access the NAS through web interfaces, and a restart didn’t resolve the issue. After the restart, realized I have the fast blinking power light which could mean 3-4 different issues, from power to motherboard failure.Thankfully, this product was offered on Amazon, at a reasonable price and quick delivery. Just replaced the old power brick with this on, powered up and she lives another day. Reviving access to 38TB of TV shows on the DS920+ and access to another 5TB of shows on a connected DX517.Hopefully, this power supply lasts as long or longer than the original, around 4 years now. I also purchased a second to have on-hand to replace the original powering a DS918+ which has been running almost non-stop for 6+ years.Took care of my problem, and prevented more involved troubleshooting and repairs. Happy couch camper with the return of my Plex media.
