*THIS REVIEW IS JUST FROM PERSONAL EXPERIENCE, NOT ATTACKING THE QUALITY OF THE PRODUCT*A little sticky on my face, flakes off over time when it dries or if I rub my face BUT this could just be due to my skin type, I can't really tell you not to buy this just because it didn't work for me, you can just take this as a heads up of what could happen.

My wife reports: “This redness relief serum might seem like a splurge on a cosmetic product, but this is NOT a daily use serum. The instructions suggest that it can be used up to 3 times a week, and applied on affected areas, therefore not your whole face, so a little goes a long way. Perhaps that helps a little to justify the price, and as far as the quality goes I am impressed. I just recently tried another Proactive + product and it worked well too. I don't know what the secret is but it works and I am happy with that. So I had a red, deep-under-the-skin blemish on my chin just the day I got this product. I rushed into testing it out. When I have these deep blemishes, it is several days of a painful red bump before it breaks out and it takes forever to get the skin back in normal condition.So I applied this serum as directed. I love the way the metal roller feels, that cooling effect on your inflamed skin, and I like that I don't have to use my “dirty” fingers to apply it :) But the instructions suggest after applying the serum to wipe off with a damp cloth. But I kind of prefer to disinfect it with rubbing alcohol. It was not that this serum took away completely that pressure sensation from the deep red blemish, but it did ease that pain. And what was more important for me, it helped to heal it faster. On some of them it calmed the blemish and it never broke through, but just slowly disappeared. I’m not sure what my cosmetologist would say about it, maybe it means it is still in there and waiting for the moment to surprise me :) Anyhow, this serum does its job, calmed the skin, helped to ease breakouts and heal skin faster. I am satisfied and I know its is gonna last me “forever”. The product has a very light, fresh scent to it and is a gel-like, colorless texture, and is not visible upon application.”

A resident of the house who wishes to remain nameless periodically has isolated acne flare-ups and agreed to be a test subject for this product. These blemishes are usually large and deep and can take a week or even two to completely disappear. This is unsightly and somewhat embarrassing, so anything that speeds up the process is welcome. As directed, I stored the serum in the refrigerated, so as soon as one of these under-the-surface blemishes appeared I was ready.The subject said the serum was cool and soothing – the metal roller applicator felt good. By the next day redness seemed to lessen. The product was applied for another few days. This particular blemish never reached the surface which could be the result of the product, or not. Sometimes they just go away on their own for whatever reason.The product caused no additional irritation or reaction and according to the test subject it will be put to use again. A little goes a long way, so other than wiping off the roller after use, and keeping it refrigerated for the coolness effect, if nothing else, it should last at a minimum six months -- maybe longer. With products used on the skin it is always a good idea to check the included ingredients to look for anything that might cause a known reaction or sensitivity.It is too soon to tell about long-term usefulness of the serum, and whether it is worth the expense, but I look forward to seeing results from repeated use, and will report back.

I have very sensitive skin and have outbreaks at various times of the year based on how warm or cold it is. When there are big changes in the weather I can not wear jewelry I have worn for years and deodorants and cologne I have used forever. I can not use them again until my body adjusts-it usually is 3 to 4 days but it is real frustrating. I am at one of these points now because of the change from winter to fall so I was eager to try this. It helped my inflamed areas well-it softened them and made them less painful. Had a decent scent so I will be using again. My blemishes that hurt lightened and were less painful.Expensive but it definitely did the trick for me.

So refreshing! Thus relieved the pain and ache from my latest mid age pimple.I put this in the refrigerator fr my kids, and thought they would be so apply to have a nice cool relief from the agony of teenage acne woes. Who knew it would be their Momma ! Yes, it was me ready to try almost anything to release the ugly redness and swelling from my latest pimple.Great product that I was thankful to have in thre frig before my anniversary dinner. This relieved my redness and stress from showing. Great product!

Gave this product a shot for my son with acne. His face gets red and inflamed during outbreaks and I was hoping for a product that would give him less redness and more confidence. This product doesnt deliver on what it’s designed for. My sons face was just as red after using this product
