The size/design of the Sploofy make it easy to make a seal with your mouth, the multi layer filter (which seems like it must be the largest by volume out there) really takes care of catching odor. No filter erases it completely, but the Sploofy absolutely performs the best out of anything I’ve used. I thought there was a quality issue with the replacement filter but turns out it was how I inserted it. If there's a leak, try repositioning the filter.Just ordered my 2nd batch, it works really well. I have an air purifier that detects nothing/a little bit with this sploof.I went through the original + 3 replacements over 1.5 years of daily use

My home environment is almost all white walls, ceilings, floors, etc. I also have original artwork hanging on the walls. I use Sploofy to not only keep the air fresh from smoke odors, but also to prevent my surfaces and art from turning brown over time. I also use it for hotels, etc. It works amazingly well. No smoke comes out the other end and I have no brown build up on surfaces and my furniture and drapes smell fresh too. I highly recommend Sploofy. I trust their quality.

Updated to 5 stars as there is now a subscription option.My only complaint: I see that we can do a subscription for the sploofy, but not the 3 pack replacement filters. Even if there was no discount, having this set up to ship automatically would be awesome.Overall, these things are awesome. We have the old style and the new one. Sometimes smoke can leak out from around your mouth, but you might need a filter change or to hold it tighter. Filters last decently long, no clue if itd actually 300-500, but it does last longer when used for vapor instead of smoke. We use this indoors in conjunction with a shark air purifier because our pet has asthm and we dont want the smell to linger. When you walk in it doesnt smell at all, and we leave these out on the table.As someone else wrote, you should open it and let it dry after the session, the filters last a little longer that way, and will be easier to breathe through. You can use the bottom piece as a stand to set the filter and top plastic piece on to dry so you can just snap it on for next time.Really enjoy it, just wish it had a subscription.
