Panasonic KX-TGE275S 5-Cordless Handsets Link2Cell Bluetooth Corldess Phone with Answering Machine, Silver

This phone system has allowed me to have the multi-phone convenience of a land line without the expense of a land line. It works effortlessly. We now only have cell phones. I can now receive or initiate cell-phone calls from any phone in the Panasonic system. We have 5 Panasonic phones located at various spots in our home. The Panasonic connects to the cell phones via Bluetooth. Connecting (pairing) the Panasonic to the cell phones was very easy and only needs to be done once for each cell phone. Thereafter, the cell phones automatically connect to the Panasonic whenever they are within range of the Panasonic's base station. After pairing, the Panasonic acts as if it were the cell phones. When a cell-phone call is received, each phone in the Panasonic system will ring. You can answer the cell-phone call from any phone in the Panasonic system. It's not much different from what would happen if you answered the cell phone directly rather than through the Panasonic. It's also not much different from how you would answer a land line if you have one. There seems to be a slight delay between the time you answer the call and the time you hear the caller but the delay is not objectionable. Similarly, you can initiate a cell-phone call from any phone in the Panasonic system You just select which cell phone you want to use and then dial the number you want on the Panasonic unit. You select which cell phone you want to use from a menu on the screen of each Panasonic phone. The call then goes out via your cell phone. As with receiving calls, there seems to be a slight delay between when you dial the number and when the call goes out but the delay is not objectionable. The Panasonic will also allow you to have a land line. So, you can have a land line and two cell phones going through the Panasonic. We don't have a land line so I cannot comment on how the Panasonic works with one. I park my cell phone just a few feet from the Panasonic base station and the reception and call quality is good. It not quite as good as the land line was but it is quite acceptable. I have the base station on the upstairs level of our house. I have discovered that if the cell phone is downstairs, the phone won't connect to the base station. I suppose in this situation, the cell phone is too far from the base station for the Bluetooth to connect the cell phone and base station. You can connect (pair) two cell phones to the base station but you can only use one cell phone at a time. That is, you can't simultaneously receive two calls or make two calls. In summary, the Panasonic is an excellent unit. As mentioned in the Heading, it provides the convenience of having a phone in each room without the expense of a land line. The base station will display which cell phones are connected to it. Each cell phone is identified by a number on the base station (1 or 2). When a cell phone connects to the base station, the number for the phone lights up. You will need to remember which phone is represented by which number but once a number is assigned to a particular phone, it does not change.

𝐓𝐨𝐭𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐲 𝐚𝐦𝐚𝐳𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐩𝐡𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐬𝐞𝐭! I did have to read the manual front to back to completely to set up the phones exactly as I wanted. It really is important to read the manual to correctly set up everything. I do have a land line so I plugged in all of the phones to charge and connected the base to the regular land line. Following the instructions, I connected it to my Samsung Galaxy Note II cell phone. Then over the next week, I was pleasantly surprised with the quality and many features of the Panasonic wireless telephone set. 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐬: The Link-to-Cell feature is fantastic! With the cell phone connected, you can place calls using either the cell or land line and designate which you prefer to use as a default. Also, you do not need a land line to use this phone set. It will connect up to two cell phones via blue tooth. The cordless handsets ring normally when a call comes in via land line or cell phone. The handsets also show caller ID and whether the call is from the land line or cell. The handsets will also announce who the call is from for voice calls and even when you receive text messages on the cell number. The calls are clean, clear and I can not tell without looking to see which line is being used. A separate ringtone can be selected for the cell line to let you know if you desire. The base is complete with a full number pad and is also a speaker phone. Setting one handset sets all of them as far as time/date/phone book, etc. I was able to download every name & number from my cell phone to the handsets in a matter of a few minutes. The cell phone also automatically reconnects when I get back home from errands without any prompting. I have not tried it yet, but a blue tooth headset can also be connected at the same time as two cell phones and the land line. I will update if I try that feature. 𝐁𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐅𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐦𝐞: Call blocking. This handset can block 250 different numbers. On "junk" calls, the phones "never" ring and show "Call Blocked" on all of the handsets. I receive "junk" calls all of the time for extended car warranties and so many other useless things. I block the numbers the first time and have been very pleasantly surprised how nice it is to eat dinner without having to listen to the phones ringing or answer "junk" calls! 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐬: If there is a power failure, the base handset must be in the base because the base relies on the handset for backup power. One improvement I can think of would be for Panasonic to put batteries in the base also just in case of power failure. I do have the unit plugged into my computer UPS just in case of power failure so I do not have to worry about that. Lastly, it would be nice if the volume level could be increased a bit for the hard of hearing as the volume seems lower than a few other brands. 𝐎𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐥𝐥: I do not believe there is a better digital cordless handset telephone on the market at this time! I highly recommend this telephone package. I will be suggesting this package to anyone wanting the best out of a phone system.

Absolutely delighted !!!!! Thank you Amazon!!)) This fone is rockingggg!!!!!!!!! Caller ID works perfect with the Airtel landline and no interference with the broadband router. Fantastic fone and was able to set up the whole apparatus in less than ten minutes. Go for this fone right away..do order the Belcore caller ID converter. Both were delivered in less than a week on the same day! Once again, thanks Amazon for the lightning fast delivery on a COD!!!!!!!!! :)

We had an old Panasonic wireless phone system that finally started to have issues after 10 years of use. Not bad. So I decided on this newer package from Panasonic. We only use the main unit and one remote dock, so we kept the other 2 units put away as backups. Sound clarity as the same as our previous phone system. We enabled N/R "noise/reduction".\ The volume levels are definitely clear and loud. I love the ZZZ option, auto ring off from say 9:30pm to on again at 7am. You can set the times to whatever you wish. Blutooth option is nice and can detect / use to cell phones. If your phone system is way too quite, even after turning up the volume, could just be a defective unit, return and get another one. Electronics today are not build to "J - Standard" as much anymore to save costs, which means they don't last nearly as long anymore.
