Not all staples are created equal
Originally bought the recommended Arrow 508 Heavy Duty T50 1/2-Inch staples to go with my Dewalt stapler. I needed to reattach a loose strap to bed slats. The Arrow staples did not penetrate the material (some type of hard wood) and bent when I tried to hammer them in. These worked beautifully and didn't need to be "finished off" with a hammer.

Too short
These are great quality, I just couldn't find any longer staples in a pack this big so I settled for these. They work great for anything needing this size and are easy to use. They are just too small for anything I need them for.
