Maybelline New York Cover Stick Corrector Concealer, Medium Beige, 0.16 oz.

I honestly thought that using a green-tinted concealer would make me look like the Bride of Frankenstein, but this works - all by itself, with no additional makeup added. I am fair-skinned, and my complexion problem is mostly a few red patches here and there. The green tint neutralizes the red using very little product, and leaving me with a largely 'un-made-up' look - because I am actually wearing very little makeup. The product has a nice, smooth texture, goes on easily - I use a brush, but you can apply it straight from the tube like lipstick - it's not greasy and has very good coverage. And it's from Maybelline, a brand I have trusted for decades (just as my mother did before me), that is known for providing good products at good prices.

I bought this brand because of a price increase on my usual one I use. It turns out I really like how this one is easily applied to my skin. It has a somewhat creamier texture. It’s a great foundation and works super well for covering up dark circles under the eyes .

Update - September 2024. I needed to order a new concealer because the last one that I ordered broke off almost immediately, and then became a mushy mess. At this price point, it wasn't worth struggling with, even though I try to be thrifty in using products that I pay for. The re-order came a few days ago, and it was already broken in the original package. I'm not sure what could have happened in between manufacturing/packaging and delivery to have that happen? I reported it to Amazon and they sent me a replacement. This one did arrive intact, which is a good start. I still like the product, but I definitely wish that it was more stable like it used to be. ----------------------------------------- I've had this type of concealer in my makeup bag forever. It does a great job of helping even out skin tone, especially under my eyes, or discolorations on my skin. The reason that I'm not giving a higher rating is that the last tube that I ordered ended up breaking off at the base after minimal use. It wasn't like I was being rough with it, either. Am wondering if they changed the formulation and it doesn't have as much substance to the formula that it's had in the past. It's a nuisance to keep gently pushing it back into the tube when it's trying to break off further with use. Still a good product for coverage and ease of blending on the skin, but inconvenient that it's broken.

I was upset when I realized I could no long purchase Erace. This Cover Stick works just as well - maybe better.

I was surprised how well this tones down the red in my face. I never wnt to be without it!

I’ve been using this product for decades. Unfortunately they are now trimming it down in size vertically and it weakens it… IE: it breaks when you go to use it. Two so far broke and I stopped buying it. I would rather that they shortened it off the top instead of trimming it off the outside.

This definitely covers spots on your face. Somehow, I don’t know what I’m doing wrong, but I prefer the skin tone color and then powder over it. I guess I could use it for Halloween.

Die Farbe 23 bei Maybelline war bestellt. Ehemals war diese dunkler. Deshalb mein letzter Versuch. Stift zu hell und viel zu teuer.
